Techno lady-boss Amelie Lens said it was her dream to host a residency in Ibiza. This year, she made that dream a reality. The Belgian superstar has taken her prized record label Exhale across the world. But this year, the label was given its own weekly showcase at Ibiza’s legendary DC10 nightclub. This celebratory residency marks Exhale's debut on the island. Every Wednesday night through August, Amelie and the Exhale family bring some hard-hitting techno to the revered DC10 stages. On August 17, Lens is joined by Ahl Iver, Bambounou, Dax J, DJ Bone, Helena Hauff, Stef Medesidis, and TRYM. Amelie Lens is the face of Exhale and the owner of imprint Lenske. In 2016, she debuted with her Exhale EP on Italy’s Lyase Recordings. As a resident at Labyrinth Club in Hasselt, she began to curate her own club nights, also under the name Exhale. She has since taken Exhale experiences to festivals around the world. Anetha is a leading figure in the new generation of French DJs inspired by the raucous energy of EBM, electro, and old-school 90s. Her standout appearance at Boiler Room Amsterdam was later recognized by the venue as one of the best techno sets of the year. From a young age, ANNA permeated herself into the clubbing atmosphere. On the production front, she’s dropped critically acclaimed music on nearly every significant label in techno. In 2019, a richly deserved slot on BBC’s Essential Mix distilled her 20 years of experience into one remarkable masterclass in great techno. Elli Acula cut her teeth playing extended vinyl sets at popular Berlin haunts like OHM, and ://aboutblank. This creative director of warehouse techno label Spandau20 has been lighting up some of Europe’s top venues lately. Farrago is the newly adopted moniker of DJ and producer Sam Deliaert. Some may remember him as Talbot Wood. Though his name has changed, his arpeggiated melodies and resonating production style remain strong. KlangKuenstler is a German techno producer inspired by the sounds of the 90s and early 2000s. For the last decade, he’s created a unique platform for selective techno with his record label Zuckerton Records. Koboyo specializes in rhythmic grooves and hypnotic, high-energy techno. He’s slated to perform with Amelie again later this year at her Label Project showcase in Istanbul. Sam Paganini emerged as Paganini Traxx in 1997. Since then, he’s released a slew of successful EPs, singles, and full-length albums. His standout track–the 2014 hit “Rave”--was in the Top Techno charts for over a year after its release.
