One of ANNA’s breakout hits was a 2019 single by the name of “Forever Ravers,” a collaboration with the legendary Miss Kittin, and a release on the coveted imprint, Kompakt. Clearly the song impacted because it accurately depicts who she is as a person. ANNA is a forever raver.
From the young age of 14-years-old she was honing her craft as a DJ, running around her father’s massive six-level nightclub in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil. She grew up in the presence of club-ready speakers and it was only natural she would be commanding them one day. She established herself in her home country of Brazil very quickly, taking on DJ sets at Warung, D-Edge and Time Warp Brazil, but nothing could keep her there for long.
Now ANNA is a world renowned talent who has hit all the premiere clubs and festivals in the world for a techno maven like herself including Movement Detroit, Awakenings, Tomorrowland, DC10 and Block in Tel Aviv. She has also contributed to the legendary Essential Mix catalog on BBC Radio 1 and the celebrated destination series Cercle with an all-vinyl set at at Les Pavillons des Étangs in Paris, France.
ANNA’s skills are equally as impressive on the production front as they are on the live front. There isn’t an impressive techno label in the world without her name on it as she’s released music through Hotflush, Drumcode, NovaMute, Clash Lion, Sapiens, Afterlife; and even Domino with her remix of “Singularity” by John Hopkins
Every once in a while an artist comes along that was clearly born to do what they’re doing. There were never any other options for them from day one, and in the modern generation of techno, that artist is named ANNA.
