Sunday April 28th, melodic techno powerhouse DJ/Producer Jonas Saalbach is set to ignite one of our favorite New York hotspots, The Roof @ Superior Ingredients with his progressive electronica and spine-tingling sound design.

Hailing from a quaint southern German town, Saalbach's journey from a live-only performer in his youth, to a global sensation now based in the music mecca of Berlin, has been nothing short of awe-inspiring.

Spirited emotion is the protagonist in Jonas Saalbach’s brand of electronic dance music. Deeply uplifting and body-moving, his dozens of EPs on premier labels, three studio albums, and the establishment of his own imprint, Radikon, in 2018, Saalbach's majestic brilliance has rightfully gained recognition and crossed borders beyond his native country.

Translating from 'roots' in Esperanto, Radikon stands as a testament to Saalbach's commitment to unity and individuality in music. Each release is a masterpiece, filled with soul, lifeblood, and haunting melodies that promise an immersive journey into superior sound.

Within just two years of the labels advent, Radikon became a collaborative epicenter with critically acclaimed releases from fellow founders and creatives Yubik, Tahu, Arude, and Baime.

Saalbachs’ energetic live performances and singular brand of melodic house and techno has enthralled listeners and club-goers around the globe, from performances at the world-renowned Burning Man, Zamna and Fusion festivals, and one to highlight in particular, his mesmerizing B2B Cercle performance with Einmusik on a cliff in the Norwegian fjords broadcasted to millions of viewers.

His sophisticated, hardware-based style gives unusual and peculiar sounds a new life, morphing them into timeless dancefloor anthems filled with emotion and percussive energy.

Joining as a special guest is UK-born melodic techno artist David Lindmer, who is currently based in New York. With releases on Afterlife, Upperground, and his own imprint, Running Clouds, David was the icing on the cake for this special event. In 2022, he was voted one of Tomorrowland’s ‘Future 4’ artists. To complete the lineup, we have Melissa XYZ, a DJ, producer, and recording artist based in New York City. Classically trained in piano since age 7, Melissa’s meteoric rise has led to performances at Burning Man and venues such as Elsewhere, Brooklyn.

Also joining is the Philly and NYC-based SunrYse b2b Derya, who has warmed up stages for names like Gabriel & Dresden and Above & Beyond. Lastly, we are excited to welcome Mark Dumitrescu, another talented DJ who has opened for Stacey Pullen and Chelina Manuhutu and is the founder of his own record label, Undisclosed Records.
