Debut: MEMORO New York w/ Joyhauser, BEC, and Friends

Overview
Joyhauser returns to Brooklyn on Sunday, December 14 for a rooftop takeover at Superior Ingredients, debuting their MEMORO concept in North America for the first time. With only a handful of stops on their global tour, this is a rare chance to experience the project up close. Joining them for the night are BEC, Push, Yazz, and CRYFXB—rounding out a lineup built for serious techno fans.

Since forming in 2017, the Belgian duo have become icons in the techno scene. Their productions strike a balance between relentless, driving percussion and sweeping, emotional depth — a sound that’s taken them to some of the world’s biggest stages, including Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Monegros Desert Festival, Loveland ADE, Mystic Garden, and Dockyard.
MEMORO, launched in 2023, began as the title of Joyhauser’s debut album and has since evolved into a full-scale project—encompassing a live show, event series, and, most recently, a record label. With MEMORO, Joyhauser explores the deeper, more atmospheric side of their sound. The concept has only been brought to select locations, including Switzerland, France, Spain, and Belgium—and now, for the first time, it’s arriving in North America.
It’s a space for experimentation, emotion, and tension — blending the duo’s signature style with new tools like AI-generated sound design, which featured heavily on their Dark Of The Night EP.
Also joining Joyhauser is BEC. Based in Berlin and originally from the UK, she’s built a strong reputation through releases on Drumcode, Second State, and Intec, with support from Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, and Space 92. She’s played respected clubs and festivals like Fabrik Madrid, Watergate, Sunwaves, Amnesia, and Awakenings Summer.

Rounding out the bill is Push (aka M.I.K.E. Push), the Belgian trance and techno icon behind classics like “Universal Nation,” “Strange World,” and “The Legacy.” With a decades-spanning career and recent releases still hitting charts, he’s now based in New York and hosts his Universal Nation show on Tomorrowland’s One World Radio.
For local talent in the underground, we’ve got New York-based Yazz joining us—a DJ and producer who began her journey at just nine years old. Experimenting with drums and other instruments early on sparked her passion and creativity in music. Also hopping on the Gray Area decks is CRYFXB!
Don’t miss this stacked night of top tier talent under the glass ceiling at Superior Ingredients. Let's dance!
