Debut: Night Tales presents CLR New York Debut

Gray Area is bringing Night Tales to the Superior Ingredients Roof in Brooklyn on Friday, November 21, from 4 PM to 10 PM. The Australian-born, Los Angeles-based duo of Aaron Bannie and Kamaliza Salamba has built a worldwide following with a sound that fuses heartfelt vocals, vivid storytelling, melodic rhythms, and live instrumentation into a DJ-driven experience. Their debut album Proof on Ultra Records pushed them to a global audience, helping them cross 50 million streams and turn tracks like “Only If” into enduring fan favorites with more than 1.5 million monthly plays.

Night Tales’ rise has been fueled by standout moments: a nomination for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the EDMA’s during Miami Music Week, an Artist of the Week feature on Edmtrain, and collaborations with major culture drivers like X Games, F1 Miami, and Art Basel. They’ve graced Coachella’s Quasar stage alongside BLOND:ISH and launched their immersive CLR show concept — Colour, Love & Rhythm — a vibrant, city-tailored live experience blending vocalists, local musicians, and dancers.

Supporting Night Tales is Kinder, the Ghanaian-Australian sister duo Briony and Savannah Osei. Known for their fusion of Afro-electronic house rhythms and infectious melodic hooks, Kinder have taken stages from Splendour in the Grass to Coachella, and even supported Katy Perry on her sold-out Australian arena tour. Their debut release on Idris Elba’s Sound International label, “Far From Home,” featuring C-Mart and David Mackay, captures their genre-fluid, global outlook. With a string of festival performances and upcoming collaborations with Kah-Lo, Kilimanjaro, Curol, and Idd Aziz, Kinder are a dynamic, internationally resonant force in electronic music.

Also joining the lineup are LAPORTE, Atlanta-born, New York City–based house DJs, producers, and models. Since moving to NYC in 2018, they have modeled for brands such as Nike, Adidas, and Tom Ford, appeared in publications including iD and Vogue, and spun at venues like the Knockdown Center as well as exclusive brand events. LAPORTE approach every set with the goal of creating an unforgettable vibe, blending infectious house grooves, technical precision, and high-energy performances that connect deeply with audiences across the city and beyond.

Rounding out the support is Zak Leever, a producer and songwriter whose infectious beats and rave-ready hooks have quietly shaped electronic music for years. Beginning piano at age eight and diving into electronic production by 14, Zak’s creative journey includes remixing, high school raves as “Stand Tall Fists Up,” and collaborations with A-Trak, Diplo, and DJ Craze. With Billboard Dance hits and frequent rotation on SiriusXM, Zak blends classical and jazz training with contemporary electronic production, crafting tracks that celebrate connection, joy, and human authenticity—delivering a set that is as emotive as it is dance-floor ready.
