Doubleheader: Chelina Manuhutu x Martin Ikin

The United Kingdom’s Martin Ikin and Amsterdam-born, Ibiza-based Chelina Manuhutu take over The Roof at Superior Ingredients on December 6 for a Doubleheader — an event series from Gray Area inspired by back-to-back baseball games. It allows us to pair two artists with overlapping sounds but different followings, leading into a collaborative B2B set that sparks discovery and brings new energy to the dance floor. Joining them is Manu Gonzalez, winner of the Ibiza’s Best DJ Award, along with rising New Jersey talent Hyde.

Martin Ikin's background as a classically trained jazz pianist and expert studio engineer has led him to create some of the genre’s biggest hits. Tracks like "Hooked" and "Headnoise (Get Hype)" have become anthems on dance floors worldwide and even earned him a gold disc. Recognized as one of 1001 Tracklists’ Top Producers, he has consistently stayed at the forefront of the house music scene.

Chelina Manuhutu, a former model turned DJ, has become a rising star with standout sets at ANTS Tulum, elrow, Music On, and Sonus Festival. Immersed in music from childhood through her artistic family, she made the full leap to DJing and producing in 2011 after a successful modeling career. Her tracks — from the Beatport-topping “Freakiness” to Drumcode’s “Amsterdam Rave” — along with releases on Sola, Hot Fuss, and La Pera, have earned her a global following on dance floors worldwide.

Also joining the Doubleheader is Manu Gonzalez, one of Ibiza’s standout homegrown talents. Winner of Best Ibiza DJ at the DJ Awards at just 25, Manu has gone from selling vinyl at the island’s legendary Delta Record Store to playing global stages like Ushuaïa’s ANTS, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia, Fabric London, Ministry of Sound, Womb Tokyo, and Factory Town Miami.
