This year, the UK house and techno label Solid Grooves announced a new home for their summer Ibiza residency. For the 2022 sessions–branded Solid Grooves Motel–the collective is taking over Ibiza’s original underground club, DC-10. With the party’s original location Privilege no longer open, Solid Grooves needed a new spot to party. Now, the 17-week residency is taking place at one of the best-known clubs on the planet, made famous by hedonistic after-hours sessions and all-day partying.

Running from 11 pm to 7 am on August 25, Solid Grooves will offer its well-known mix of tech and minimal house to its cult following. This week, a trifecta B2B session between Dennis Cruz, Michael Bibi, and Pawsa headlines the night. Plus, supporters Alexia Glensy, Carlita, Christian AB, Elliot Schooling, Liam Palmer, Mahony, and Samuel Deep hit the stage.

Solid Grooves co-founders PAWSA and Michael Bibi are proven tech house masters. Joining them is Dennis Cruz, previously noted as Beatport’s third-best tech house artist, and a pillar of the underground house and tech community.

Alexia Glensy is a graduate of London AMP and the creator of the record label and fashion brand LeMaia. Her signature flavor of 90s-style minimal house was recently recruited for the reopening of Amsterdam’s Shelter club.

Carlita’s global take on house music is as refreshing as it is cultural. The native Turk is known for sourcing tracks from Israeli pop, Turkish psychedelia, and 90s rock.

On Christian AB’s EP Accelerated Growth, he showcased his acidic basslines and bright, psychedelic flourishes. The London native has been making major bangers with his original alias and as CAB92 ever since.

For the Disco Riddims EP, young Elliot Schooling combines 70s-era vocal samples with classic house claps and dripping funk. He’ll undoubtedly be able to turn DC10’s dancefloor into a bonafide disco.

A regular around the best London clubs, Liam Palmer is also the co-founder of Appetite, an events production company he runs with his buddy Elliot Schooling.

Romanian up-and-comer Mahony has already played alongside some of the greats like Carl Cox and Loco Dice. His sets play to his love for hip-hop and underground rap, combining them with electronic beats.

To some, Samuel Deep is dubbed the “king of swing.” He’s also an accomplished, DJ, producer, and the head of SlapRecords, which just celebrated 10 years in 2022.
