Event Recommendation
Solomun+1 is pretty much the entire Sunday package in the White Isle.
As per tradition for the legendary residency, the techno titan invites a single guest for each edition. This one-guest format has continuously distinguished the residency as a superior affair focused on immersion rather than quantity.
The 2022 season of the residency kicked off on May 22 and comes to a close on October 16.
The night kicks off with the +1 opening at midnight before handing over the signature DJ booth to Solomun, after which both play back-to-back until closing.
Some of the absolute hottest names on the global circuit have joined the Diynamic label owner throughout this year’s residency, including Âme, Christian Nielsen, Keinemusick, Trance Wax, Jamie xx, Dixon, Erol Alkan, Adriatique, Sofia Kourtesis, and Gerd Janson.
Ready for another night with Solomun and Pacha’s ultra-famous red cherries? On October 2, Solomun will be joined by the London DJ Midland.
Midland (aka Harry Agius) debuted his production endeavors in a joint EP with Ramadanman (or Pearson Sound) titled Your Words Matter in 2010.
The UK artist's debut commercial mix CD FABRICLIVE 94 was an “ode to the many facets of club culture” and featured tracks including Shinichi Atobe, Daphni, LFO, Kowton, and Beatrice. He has remixed Dua Lipa, The Chemical Brothers, St Vincent, and Darkstar, among others, across his ever-growing career.
Along with James Ford, the London-based artist produced Jessie Ware’s “Save A Kiss” in 2020.
Midland runs the labels Graded, ReGraded, and InterGraded with the Frankfurt-based producer Chris Gold.
This summer, the artist’s touring has included He.She.They at Amnesia, Waterworks Festival London, Body Movements, Love International Festival Tisno, Houghton Festival, and more.
Between Solomun and Midland in the booth, we can all rest assured that October 2 will be a pretty bangin’ night at Pacha.
