Melding trancey beats, distorted percussion, and a splash of Acid with a deep, nostalgic undertone, his music is not just heard; it's felt. Space 92's talent is evident in chart-topping tracks like "" and "Mercury (Original Mix)" with HI-LO, which have echoed across continents, captivating the hearts of techno enthusiasts.
Mathieu's musical journey, rich with diverse influences, echoes through his innovative tracks. Drawing inspiration from the structured beats of pop, the lyrical depth of folk, and the raw power of hip-hop, he crafts a unique techno sound that transcends traditional genre barriers. His approach has not only captivated a wide audience but also garnered acclaim from techno giants like Carl Cox and Oliver Heldens' alter ego, HI-LO.Space 92's swift ascent is a striking example of talent and innovation transcending the need for constant touring. He has already graced the stages of prestigious festivals like ADE, proving his prowess both in the studio and on stage.
Defying the odds, Space 92 rose to unparalleled heights during a global pandemic, proving that true talent knows no bounds. Crowned as the top-selling techno act by Beatport, his meteoric rise is a testament to his exceptional skill and the universal appeal of his music. With collaborations spanning icons like UMEK and Reinier Zonneveld, and releases on prestigious labels like 1605, Filth on Acid, and Drumcode, his impact on the techno world is undeniable.
We are thrilled to announce the return of techno sensation Shay De Castro, who earlier this year graced the stage with Lilly Palmer on The Roof. Shay, known for her releases on prestigious labels such as Factory 93 and Kraftek, is a familiar face on Gray Area’s dancefloors.
Having toured extensively across the States, Shay recently played at San Diego's newest hotspot, Nova Nightclub, alongside Eli Brown for Factory93. She has also broadened her international appeal, performing at Praerie Festival, and embarking on her debut summer tour in Germany last year.
Musica, created by visionaries Giuseppe Cipriani and Tito Pinton and formerly known as Ibiza's Club Space of New York, stands as the city’s newest premier entertainment venue. Everyone needs to experience this sensory orbit with Space 92 and Shay De Castro as they take us on a journey from planet earth, to a parallel universe. Although, be warned, you may not want to return.
