As the Ibiza 2024 summer season unfolds, Avyca emerges as a dynamic force in the island's nightlife, breathing fresh life into the scene with its brand new outlook on intimate clubbing vibes. Rising from the ashes of the beloved Sankeys club, which then ran under Octan for a couple of summers, Avyca is set to make waves with its highly anticipated debut.
With its grand opening scheduled for this summer (date not yet confirmed), Avyca promises to rise as a platform for the next generation of musical talent, and a sanctuary for discerning clubbers seeking cutting-edge experiences on the dancefloor.
Situated in the heart of Playa d'en Bossa, Avyca will present a newly refurbished space, with state-of-the-art production and world-class sound, providing clubbers with an immersive journey through a diverse range of musical genres, from house music to hypnotic techno.
The venue will retain the old Sankey’s roof terrace for al fresco gatherings but with a complete redesign, as well as its intimate main room with an atmospheric low ceiling, and a spacious warehouse-style second room, ensuring there's something to suit every mood.
Avyca's journey began with two trial events at the end of 2023, featuring an impressive lineup of underground talent. Now, as excitement mounts, Avyca is gearing up to unveil its inaugural lineup, promising a diverse mix of guests and residencies that will captivate clubbers throughout the summer.
While Ibiza's clubbing scene has seen a resurgence since the pandemic, Avyca represents a new chapter - a 1,500 capacity powerhouse set to add a new dimension to the scene. With plans for a run of 80 to 90 parties in its first year, Avyca aims to strike the perfect balance between quality and quantity, welcoming weekly promoters like Manchester-based Kaluki and Berlin-style Techno purveyor Phase 2.
