elrow, the globally renowned party brand, has become one of the most iconic names in the global nightlife scene. Now famous for its immersive, and over-the-top events. The story of elrow and the Arnau family that helped to create it is unlike any other electronic music brand.
The history of its evolution dates back to the late 1800s to a music cafe that showcased forward-thinking and unique music in the town of Fraga, to the northwest of Barcelona. The Arnau family created several event spaces in the 1920s and progressed to cinemas and theaters in the 1950s. These event spaces became increasingly popular and the Arnau family saw the rise of electronic music and created the Monegros Festival on the family estate in Zaragoza in 1993. This festival continued each year and grew from a couple of hundred attendees to over 50,000 in 2014.
Elrow, as we know it today, was formed, after success at the Monegros festival, by 6th generation family members of the Arnau family in 2010. A record label was also created to showcase its artist and elrow made its debut at the iconic Space Ibiza nightclub in 2012.
elrow’s early years in Ibiza quickly created a huge following due to top-tier DJs and an unparalleled ability to transform venues into fantastical, carnival-like spaces. Each event was a sensory overload, featuring elaborate themes, colorful decorations, confetti explosions, and costumed performers, that created an atmosphere of joy and escapism.
In 2017, after the closure of Space Ibiza, elrow moved to Amnesia, another of Ibiza's legendary clubs. Amnesia's larger capacity allowed elrow to scale up its productions, introducing even more elaborate themes and larger crowds. Constantly changing themes, interaction with actors, games, and the now iconic ‘inflatable drops’, have further added to the ultimate clubbing experience.
Their events continue to innovate and push the boundaries of what a party experience can be, often selling out well in advance and becoming a staple of the island's summer season.
Today, elrow's influence extends beyond Ibiza with an incredible claim of shows in 50 cities in 40 countries, on 5 continents, an accolade that no other brand can match. As much as other events are labeled “unmissable” and “unforgettable” - no event rightly deserves those labels more than elrow - a mind-blowing experience that delivers every single time.
