ANTS Opening Party

Now entering its eighth season, ANTS will take back its regular Saturday slot after a two-year hiatus starting on May 7th and running through summer until October 1st. Created by The Night League, this extra special opening will transcend across not one but two of Playa d’en Bossa super clubs. This year, ANTS is taking inspiration from 1960’s B-movies and sees a giant killer ant crash-landing into the ANTS Ibizan nest. What happens after that - we don’t know - but we’re certainly ready to find out! Their legendary production, stunning poolside performances, and a party atmosphere to rival all others mean Saturday afternoons and nights have some serious competition this season. Gray Area top tip: If past seasons are anything to go by, the intimate feel of the first few hours of an ANTS party at Ushuaïa is enough to get there early and stay late. ANTS began its journey on the White Isle 10 years ago, solidifying its home at the beautiful Ushuaïa in 2013. A favorite with the seasonal workers on the island and visitors alike, you’ll get a feel of the real Ibiza when you head to an ANTS party. The experience is immersive, the people are real, and the music is spot on. The open-air venue kicks off the proceedings at 3 pm on Saturday, May 7th, with a contemporary house music soundtrack bouncing off the walls of the infamous Ushuaïa right through until midnight. The ANTS invasion will have truly landed. Then, from 11 pm, the colony marches across the road to Ushuaïa’s futuristic sister venue, Hï, to carry on dancing until the early hours. The ANTS opening party line-up is, to put it quite simply, mega! Davide Squillance and Matthias Tanzmann will be treating us to a back-to-back set at Ushuaïa, alongside sets from Hï resident FISHER, Eats Everything, Prunk, Syreeta, and Raul Rodriquez. Across the road at Hï, the big names don’t slow down. Andrea Oliva and Nic Fanciulli will be playing back-to-back in Hï’s Theatre alongside another epic b2b from Paco Osuna and Ilario Alicante. Joris Voorn will be bringing the instantly recognizable ANTS sound to the Main Room alongside up-and-comer Chloé Robinson, a live performance from KiNK, and a transcendent set from Eli & Fur. The popularity of these two venues knows no bounds. Early bird tickets for the Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza Opening Party ‘Better Together’ sold out in less than 4 hours, so expect ANTS tickets to move quickly. Will we see you on the dancefloor?
