Awakenings Richie Hawtin From Our Minds ADE - Gashouder

Nine events spanning the legendary Gashouder venue—which Awakenings events have called home, going back to 1997—and the Ziggo Dome Arena, will be welcoming some of the world’s most talented acts for over 5 days of techno from October 19-23, 2022.

Gasholder, Amsterdam’s critically acclaimed industrial event venue, will be packed with a specially curated bill of heavy techno hitters on October 21. Richie Hawtin will be organizing a special showcase for the third night of Awakenings ADE programming. ‘From Our Minds’ is the name of the international Techno star’s creative collective, headed by Hawtin himself and a play on the name of his studio album, From My Mind to Yours.

Hawtin will be hosting this spectacular stage on the second night of Awakenings ADE, along with artists who’ve released via his esteemed label Plus 8 throughout the 25 years it's been established.

Danza Tribale label boss Adiel will play a hypnotic set similar to those she’s played at the famed Goa Ultrabeat parties in Rome where was a resident DJ. Her densely fantastical live selections include melodic motifs, introspective atmospheres, and entrancing four-on-the-floor rhythms.

Musical trio Fjaak blends House, Techno, ambient, and breakbeat, and has the ability to grab a hold of a dance floor in an instant—expect this and more from the artists and iconic producer Amoral.

Max Kobosil aka Kobosil, a Berghain regular, is bringing his subtly hypnotic synth sounds and the dark, variant form of Techno he’s notorious for directly to Hawtin’s Awakenings event.

One of the first DJ/producers to emerge from the Palestinian underground scene, Sama' Abdulhadi is a tour de force.  Her distinctly dry, punchy brand of techno has quickly set her apart from her techno peers and continues to cement her place internationally from clubs to the main stage. Expect to hear a plethora of unreleased cuts from her upcoming debut studio album.
