Elrow Brings The Summer Of Love to New York City

On Saturday, July 24th elrow returns to Avant Gardner’s Brooklyn Mirage for 12 hours of groovy shenanigans. The sixties-themed Psychrowdelic Trip couldn’t be more well-timed. It’s the perfect moment to look back on an era of far-out self-expression as New York celebrates a summer unrestricted, uninhibited, and ready to party.

The Spanish experiential event brand invites you inside to freak out inside the wildest hippie commune ever. It may be the first time you've seen the beautiful faces of your rave fam in a while, so elrow encourages everyone to, “Hug a tree, hug a flower, hug whatever and whoever, as long as you spread a bit of love and laughter.”

It’s elrow’s first time back in The States since 2019. In trademark fashion, everything will be tastefully over the top starting with an expertly curated lineup. From top to bottom elrow offers a musical program that we've anticipated for over a year.

Dutch-born Ibiza-based DJ and producer Chelina Manuhutu makes her first US appearance in nearly two years going in on a spicey b2b with Ibiza’s 2019 DJ of the Year Francisco Allendes.

Bontan and Josh Butler join forces again for a long-awaited b2b. It’s been six years since the boys have rocked the decks together officially, and elrow Open Air attendees will get the first taste of their US tour.

Will Clarke and Huxley wrapped up 2019 with a tough and dirty techno EP titled "Love Somebody," on Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave imprint. They’re rinsing it out together for the first time in New York, one can only imagine the damage they will do.

Dennis Ferrer is a New York legend and famously always one step ahead of the game in house music. He'll bless the elrow stage with what is sure to be an unexpected journey through new soundscapes.

And closing things out on the main in a way only a 20-year veteran can is Spanish artist Poco Osuna. His legendary DJ sets drift from funky to deep, soulful to disco, and jackin’. As one of Spain’s most revered DJs, he’s an appropriate choice to take it home.

Elrow enlists the help of The Desert Hearts crew to bring a touch of West Coast festival culture to Kings Hall. Their passionate and dedicated fan following has put them at the forefront of underground house and techno. They spent quarantine entertaining thousands with daily live streams that brought the sonic joy and radical self-expression of their famous festivals to small screens the world over. Lee Reynolds, Porky, Mikey Lion, and Marbs are ready to show New York how they’ve built a festival family that embodies the free-spirited 60’s for the dance music era.

New York house legend Todd Terry joins the ragtag crew of dreamers in The Kings Hall. Every set from Terry is an education on the roots of house music. He was one of the first house music producers to achieve mainstream success on the back of crossover remixes like “Missing” by Everything But The Girl. He’s continued to innovate and impress throughout his multi-decade spanning career.

Elrow’s aesthetic is more than the music. Famous for loading shipping containers full of decorations for their shows in dozens of cities around the world. Their Baz Lurman like approach to events will transform Brooklyn Mirage into a psychedelic wonderland complete with costumed roving performers. Elrow always seeks to put fans at the center of the action, so join the show and dress up in your best 60’s era threads.

Psychrowdelic Trip get’s started early. It’s the only event to open doors at 6:30pm giving you plenty of time to soak up the trippy vibes, shake out your bell-bottoms, and get down to the funky sounds.
