€URO TRA$H Open Air

On July 20, The Roof of Superior Ingredients is the spot to kick off the summer season with a set from the enigmatic duo €URO TRA$H. Better known in bass music circles as two of the biggest names in contemporary dance music, Yellow Claw, their cheeky, party-loving, house-pumping side project takes all the hedonistic fun of their trap sets, and rolls it into a booty shankin', low-end thumping tech house package.

Under their new alias, the duo steps away from their signature heavy headbangin' business for something with a bit more groove and funk. €URO TRA$H first surfaced with the sleazy techno banger "Trust You," a collaboration with fellow Barong Family homies Psycho Boys Club in 2021.

The duo spent the summer of that year locked in a massive Bali villa dubbed Hotel Barong, creating new music that spanned poolside house music, shuffle-inducing tech house, and warehouse-rattling techno. At the time, they told Mixmag Asia, "This is a special project we have been working on for quite a while now really taking us back to the origin of the rave."

They made their live debut at EDC Vegas last year with a surprise art car set, completely blowing away thousands of stunned ravers aboard the Rynobus.

Their debut album ¥€$ dropped in February of this year, featuring the legendary vocals of Kathy Brown on "Everything Tonight," a collab with Wax Motif on "So Hypnotic," and 11 other hip-shaking and sultry house bangers.

The name is an irreverent play on a slang term for wealthy Europeans, and they played directly into the aesthetic with a cultured and refined YouTube video late in 2022 entitled, The art of €URO TRA$H. 

While the boys groove, bop, and sip champagne in Victorian-era garb, they present an air of mock sophistication that is a sharp and hilarious juxtaposition to the vocal samples in their tracks, calling the dancefloor to shake asses and pop...body parts.

Supporting €URO TRA$H will be New York based producer & DJ, Proper Villians. Recently performing Brooklyn Mirage boat party supprting James Hype & Tita Lau, Villians has also been seen sharing stages with Walker & Royce, Matroda, CID & many more.

€URO TRA$H has crafted the perfect alter ego for the moment as house music continues to reign supreme. Their grungy bass-forward rhythms are a fitting soundtrack for an evening of rooftop vibes high above Brooklyn at as the sun sets behind the Manhattan skyline. Jon Shulman, better known as Proper Villains, is a genre-defying artist who has spent the last two decades creating an impressive catalog that ranges from dubstep to drum & bass and tech house to trap with releases on prestigious labels like Classic Music Company and Fool's Gold. His track "Doin' it" has amassed over a million Spotify streams, and his track "Don Dada," remixed by Honey Dijon & Luke Solomun, hit #16 in house releases on Beatport.

Hifidexx, a New York-based producer and DJ who is one half of the DJ duo Into It, has made significant strides in his career. He has released four tracks on both Hourglass Records and Suma Records and has had the privilege of opening up for renowned artist, Shiba San.
