Event Recommendation
The time has come to once again Follow the Fish to Hï Ibiza.
The opening parties are coming through thick and fast, and on Wednesday June 7, we're hitting the dance floors once again and kicking off yet another Ibiza summer residency.
Australian chart-topping DJ and tech-house producer Fisher is back for another season of his electrifying residency at Playa d'en Bossa's superclub, Hï Ibiza.
Get your dancing shoes on, because Fisher is taking over the Theatre room every Wednesday from June 7 to September 27 2023, with the Club room being hosted by Brazillian DJ sensation Vintage Culture.
The Grammy-nominated DJ is no stranger to the decks at Hï Ibiza. He first made his mark on the island as part of Camelphat’s Bodyworks even in 2019 and followed on by having his own groundbreaking residency at the same club in 2022.
If the summer of lineups and special guests are anything to go by, there’s no slowing down for Fisher in 2023. The opening party is most definitely setting the standard, with Fatboy Slim and Little Fritter entertaining the Theatre and Joris Voorn in the Club, as well as a B2B set from Ashibah and Viot.
Hï Ibiza is the ultimate destination for clubbers seeking a futuristic and innovative nightlife experience. As the World's Number 1 Club in 2023 (for the 2nd year running), Hï sets the standard for cutting-edge design, top-class sound technology, and world-class resident DJs.
There’s no mid-week slump if you’re in Ibiza! Let’s dive into the line up:
The Theatre
Before becoming the globally renowned DJ and producer we all know and love, Australian-born Paul Nicholas Fisher was a pro surfer in the World Qualifying Series. Since his debut single "Ya Kidding" in 2017, Fisher has skyrocketed to fame, earning a Grammy nomination for "Losing It" in 2018 and headlining multiple events across the globe. His residency at Hï Ibiza is a testament to his passion for music and his dedication to giving fans an unforgettable experience.
Norman Cook, aka Fatboy Slim, is a Grammy and Brit Award-winning DJ and producer with a career spanning over four decades. As one of the world's most beloved DJs, he has expertly built a loyal following while continuously attracting new fans. He most certainly plays for the party and has an enthusiasm like no other.
Starting off as a DJ and promoter on the Gold Coast of Australia, Little Fritter's infectious personality has spread across dance floors around the world. 2019 was the first year that Little Fritter teamed up with long-time friend Fisher, playing shows together worldwide, and in 2022 he continued his run. Now back for 2023, let’s see what he brings to the table.
Main Room
Sharing the residency spotlight with Fisher for the summer of 2023 is Lukas Rafael Ruiz Hespanhol, aka Vintage Culture. This Brazilian DJ and producer has been making waves with his remix of Shouse's "Love Tonight" and his festival series, Só Track Boa. Vintage Culture's unique sound and high-energy performances have earned him a dedicated fanbase, and his presence at Hï Ibiza will undoubtedly fill the room from front to back.
Dutch DJ and producer Joris Voorn has been devoted to house and techno music since 1997. Ibiza has always played a huge part in Voorn’s summer touring schedule, from playing We Love… at Space on Sundays back in the day to more recent La Familia nights at Ushuaia with Nic Fancuilli. He has also held residencies at ANTS and elrow, so is definitely no stranger to an Ibiza crowd.
Self-taught DJ, producer and vocalist Ashibah knew that she wanted a career in the music industry from a very young age. Her reputation was built on the Copenhagen club scene before she started playing stages across the world. With releases on Defected Records, D4DNCE, REALM Records, Nothing Else Matters, and Armada - there’s no stopping this one from reaching the top.
Playing a B2B set with Ashibah is Brazillian DJ and producer Viot. Taking his influences from house, techno, disco and hip-hop, he is able to create a perfect blend that keeps dance floors packed.
