Paradise Opening Party
Event Recommendation
The jungle comes alive at Amnesia Ibiza on Wednesday, June 21. After a strong run of parties in 2022, Jamie Jones’ Paradise is back for its 2nd year at the iconic Amnesia Ibiza with the very best in house and techno. Built around the sounds of Hot Creations, this 16-week residency will kick off at 10pm on June 21 and run all the way through until 6am, with the crowd not missing a beat throughout the night. Get ready to dance the night away in a lush, vibrant, and supernatural jungle atmosphere. Let the "Night of the Jaguar" take you on an unforgettable journey. After a long stint as a resident at DC-10’s Circoloco, Welsh DJ and producer Jamie Jones created his own party at the same venue. After 8 years of residency at the end of the runway, Paradise moved over to Amnesia and was welcomed with open arms. The opening party lineup is looking strong! Leading the pack is Paradise’s own Jamie Jones, who will be joined by house and techno heavyweights Joseph Capriati, Ilario Alicante, Manda Moor, and Fleur Shore on the Terrace. In the main room, Dan Ghenacia, Shonky, and Traumer will be headlining with a mammoth B2B2B set, as well as spectacular solo sets from East End Dubs, Ben Sterling, Rich NxT, and Calvin Clarke. Terrace Jamie Jones is a world-renowned DJ and producer, known as the head of the record label Hot Creations and a member of the electronic music group Hot Natured. Pioneering a distinct sound that has paved the way for a warmer, more melodic side of techno, Jones was voted the top DJ of 2011 by the online dance music magazine Resident Advisor. Amnesia is always a roadblock when he’s behind the decks! Italian DJ and producer Joseph Capriati started behind the decks at just 11 years old, and quickly became popular in his hometown, playing his first proper gig in 2007. He is a techno master and a staple in the global festival and club scene. Ilario Alicante, who learned to DJ in his early teens, is a seasoned figure on the techno scene, known for his record-breaking debut at the techno festival Time Warp at just eighteen years old and for releasing records on respected labels like Bosconi, Tenax, and Cocoon Recordings. Alicante has earned acclaim as one of Sven Väth's most successful protégés, with the pair frequently performing together at Cocoon's annual Ibiza residency throughout his career. Danish-Filipino DJ and producer Manda Moor swings perfectly between house and techno and has had releases on globally known labels such as Hot Creations, Tamango, and Afro Acid to name a few. Birmingham-born Fleur Shore’s musical knowledge and talent are second to none. Her sets are filled with basslines that you can’t not dance to, and vocals that you can help but want to sing along with. Her passion shines through in her sets, and we can’t wait to see what she brings to Amnesia Ibiza for Paradise. The Music Box (Main Room) Dan Ghenacia is a globally renowned DJ who has been touring for over two decades, known for his unique touch in every set and for being one-third of the 'supergroup' Apollonia, which is centered around a unique back-to-back-to-back concept. So, he’ll be no stranger to sharing the decks on June 21. Shonky, a staple in Parisian club culture since his debut in 1998, is known for his regular appearances in key Parisian clubs such as La Scene, Le Rex, and Le Nouveau Casino. His first production was released through Freak n Chic in 2005, and he has since developed a production partnership with Jennifer Cardini, including remixes for Mobilee, Crosstown Rebels, and Microfon. The 3rd element of the B2B2B set is Traumer (real name Romain Reynaud) a French DJ and producer who debuted on the scene in 2011. Throughout his career, he’s moved between genres and experimented with different soundscapes, bringing all of his influences together to create his signature techno sound. Not only a master producer and DJ, but East End Dubs also runs his own label as well as engineers for plenty of other artists and record labels. The London producer has made a name for himself with deep and dark house sounds, inspired by London’s underground scene. British-born DJ and producer Ben Sterling already had a residency at London’s Ministry of Sound when he was 18. He quickly caught the attention of bigger names in the electronic music scene, especially Hot Creations and Paradise boss Jamie Jones who played seven of Sterling’s unreleased productions during a single EDC Las Vegas set! As the youngest person to ever play Paradise at DC-10, and backed by the myriad of artists on the roster, Ben Sterling is one to keep an eye on. One of Fuse’s original residents, Rich NxT has a strong presence in the house and techno scene, releasing multiple EPs on the Fuse imprint as well as others on labels such as WYLD. No stranger to the White Isle, Rich NxT has graced the decks of DC-10 and Space (now Hï Ibiza) as well as Amnesia. Manchester-born Calvin Clarke is a Kaluki resident DJ and has played at some of the biggest festivals and clubs around the world including BPM Festival, Fabric (London), Elrow (Barcelona), The Warehouse Project (Manchester), and many more.
