Event Recommendation
One of Ibiza’s most beloved residencies, Paradise, returns to Amnesia on August 24, spearheaded by world-renowned producer Jamie Jones. After an eight-year run at DC-10, Paradise relocated to Amnesia Ibiza in 2020. The Paradise residency sets out to create a party that feels eclectic and creative but still with intimate, family energy.
Every Wednesday throughout the summer, Jones headlines The Terrace alongside some of his fabulous, hard-hitting house friends. Across two stages, Terrace and The Music Box, mid-week ravers can experience some of the best in deep house and techno.
Terrace
This week, after an unexpected cancellation of Luciano’s set, Paradise patriarch Jamie Jones is stilling in. The DJ, producer, and Hot Creations label boss helped to pave the way for warmer, more melodic angles on traditional techno. This week, he’s going back-to-back for four hours with a secret selection of guests. We’re anxious to see who it is.
Richy Ahmed has taken part in nearly every aspect of dance music culture. From raver to promoter; from producer to label owner; this Brit has a true love for his music. His disco-tech-tinged deep house tunes are a welcome addition to the Paradise lineup.
Rising star Manda Moor takes a lot of inspiration from the classic Chicago house music of the 90s. Her groovy tech-house live sets have earned her spots on MixMag, DJ Mag, and Hot Creations.
The Music Box
After taking inspiration from his radio jockey father, his folk-playing grandfather, and his then-modest collection of hip-hop records, Marco Faraone settled into the discerning techno sound he’s known for today. As the founder of the label UNCAGE, Faraone has grown into one of modern techno’s most respected names.
Darius Syrossian is unpretentious and hard-working. As a proud selector of quality house and techno, his determination to keep club culture alive shines in his productions and his live sets.
Ever since Seb Zito established himself as a resident at Fuse London, his strong house/techno sound has had a raw edge to it. His own Amnesia residency, Hyte x Fuse, was a big success in the late 2010s.
As one of the original Fuse London residents, Rich Nxt helped to take the once free afterparty to the distinguished national brand it is today. His debut album, Know the Score, became one of the artist’s crowning achievements in 2020.
Romanian up-and-comer Mahony has already played alongside greats like Carl Cox and Loco Dice. His sets play to his love for hip-hop and underground rap, combining them with happy house beats.
Pirate Copy prefers a more DIY approach when it comes to making his raw, innovative dance tracks. His more recent releases have notched up several top tens on Beatport’s Tech House charts.
