Pyramid Closing
Event Recommendation
Pyramid Closing Party at Amnesia Ibiza. It’s the last dance of the season. As October rolls in, the closing parties in Ibiza remind us that it’s time to say goodbye to the summer nights of endless dancing to incredible DJs and music in Ibiza (but don’t worry, we reckon it’ll all be back next year!). Amnesia-born party Pyramid, with its unwavering spirit, is all set to bid farewell with its final event at Amnesia Ibiza on Sunday, October 8 in the only way it knows how, by throwing a massive party. Pyramid has always been about celebrating the authentic Ibiza clubbing spirit, and this closing party is the epitome of what the season has been. It’s a night to reminisce, to celebrate the unity, the diversity, and the incredible beats that have echoed every Sunday at Amnesia. When the doors swing open at 11pm, it’s an invitation to you to make memories in the iconic super club for one last time this season. Holding court in the Terrace are Enzo Siragusa, Gianluca Pegoiani, Mar-T, and a special B2B set from Ricardo Villalobos and Luciano. The Main Room will see Deborah De Luca, Lilly Palmer, Luca Donzelli, and ONYVAA take to the decks, creating a completely different, but yet still as incredible, atmosphere. The Pyramid closing party isn’t just another night at Amnesia; it’s a culmination of all the Sundays gone by, of all the tunes that made hearts race, of all the DJs who turned ‘just another Sunday night’ into life-long memories. It’s about cherishing what was and eagerly anticipating what lies ahead in the next season. More about the lineup: Enzo Siragusa is a prominent DJ and producer from the UK, deeply rooted in the rave culture since the early 90s. He is the mastermind behind Fuse, one of London's famous party brands, and has a reputation as a passionate advocate for the rave scene. Besides his significant influence in the UK, Siragusa has grown his reputation internationally, laying the foundations for the next generations of rave and electronic music culture. Gianluca Pegoiani developed his love for music in the 90s, influenced by notable figures like Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin. Over the years, he performed in major clubs across Italy, France, Spain, and Switzerland, while also dedicating time in the studio. He made his debut in 2017 on Skream’s Of Unsound Mind label, and his track “Numero 5” was recognized as an underground hit in 2020, blending techno and soul elements seamlessly. It wouldn’t be an Amnesia-born party without Mar-T. As the super club’s longest-standing resident (since 1999) this Spanish DJ and producer Martin Vega a.k.a. Mar-T will bring pure hedonistic joy to the dancefloor once again for the Pyramid closing party. Born in Barcelona and raised in the nearby town of Sitges, Mar-T developed an interest in electronic music in the thriving nightlife of the 80s and 90s, especially at L'Atlàntida Club, and has been active as a DJ and producer since 1995. His career took a significant upturn in 2011 with the launch of the "I WANT MY MTV" parties at Amnesia, showcasing his hedonistic and sensual music style, heavily influenced by the Ibiza scene. Though born in Chile, Ricardo Villalobos grew up in Germany. Developing an early interest in music, he delved into electronic music in the late 80s, releasing his first record in 1994, and turned professional in 1998, pulling his inspiration from bands such as Depeche Mode and artists such as Baby Ford, Daniel Bell, and Andrew Weatherall. He started his own record label in 1993 and released music on the German Playhouse label. Renowned for his minimal techno and microhouse genres, Villalobos earned the title of Resident Advisor's Top DJ in 2007, 2008, and 2010, reflecting his significant influence in the electronic music scene. Luciano is a Swiss-Chilean DJ and producer known for his innovative blend of techno and Latin American music. He founded Cadenza Records, a label that has significantly impacted the minimal techno scene. His unique sound has earned him a prominent spot in the global electronic music community, especially in Ibiza. Born in the difficult neighborhood of Scampia in Naples in 1980, Deborah De Luca navigated her way up from a waitress and dancer in local clubs to become an internationally recognized DJ and producer, with her music - a fusion of hard techno and minimal sounds - garnering appreciation from renowned DJs like Magda and Dj Ralf. Besides her global performances in clubs from France to America, she founded the label Sola_mente Records in 2013, continuously innovating her music that resonates with varied tastes, irrespective of trends. Energetic DJ Lilly Palmer made her debut at Amnesia in 2022 for the opening party, bringing her powerful techno and melodic sounds to the party people of the White Isle. Already a respected international artist, she is a regular guest in the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Israel, Lebanon, Croatia, Switzerland, Belgium, UK, Spain, Ibiza, and India (where she played at the biggest Asian festival Sunburn). At only 20 years old, Luca Donzelli made his first steps into the clubbing scene and in the summer of 2014, played the opening party for Amnesia, as well as Off Sonar for the third time. Amnesia may as well be a second home to Luca, as in 2015 he was named a resident at Loco Dice’s party HYTE. A true storyteller with his music, distinctive style, and attention to detail will leave you wanting more long after his set is over. ONYVAA, whose real name is Shelby Stingley, is a Los Angeles native DJ and producer, now based in Paris, who is known for her driving melodic techno infused with Detroit influences and raw analog elements. She is the founder and owner of the underground label Passeport Records, which serves as an outlet for her to release original productions with full creative musical freedom. ONYVAA’s style, strongly influenced by Detroit, Chicago, and early 90s acid warehouse techno, has propelled her into the global techno circuit, gaining recognition for both her live performances and studio work.
