Event Recommendation
It’s time to be transported into a magical, Middle Eastern-inspired wonderland. Are you ready?
New York duo Tamer Malki and Rami Abousabem, aka Bedouin, are bringing their A Wednesday Saga party to the iconic Pacha Ibiza, kicking off on Wednesday, May 25th and running for an incredible 20 weeks until October 5th.
Since 2017 this mysterious and fascinating party has brought some alternative sounds to the White Isle, with deep, desert house sounds and hypnotic rhythms reminiscent of the nomadic Bedouin tribes. Shamanic elements run throughout the waves of sound and melodic vocals that perfectly showcase how the duo pull inspiration from their Middle Eastern heritage combined with their Western upbringing.
If the music wasn’t enough, the decor and visual experience will complete the story transporting you to the deserts of the Middle East. Think exotic dancers, richly colored drapes, curtains, and the scent of incense wafting under dimmed lights heightening all of your senses. It’s the kind of party that feels like a genuine, authentic Ibiza experience.
Originally, Saga parties were at neighboring venue Heart (now closed), but with the move to Pacha, they start a whole new chapter in their Ibiza story. The cult following they have amassed over the years praised the move to Ibiza’s oldest club. We are beyond excited to see how they scale up the party within those old finca walls.
Bedouin - Saga at Heart
Pacha has a rich history on the island and, ever since its opening in 1973, has laid host to the world's most revered DJs, artists, and brands. A Wednesday Saga has been hugely successful since its first year in 2017, with Pete Tong defining it as "one of the most successful seasonal residency debuts of all time." It also won the award for Best Ibiza Night at the 2019 DJ Awards, so we expect nothing less from its move to Pacha than stratospheric success!

Hosts for the evening, Bedouin, pull their inspiration from their Middle Eastern heritage and global travels. They have chosen a musical approach that is distinctive and experimental - some have even said it’s a musical genre of its own. Bedouin has had a strong presence at Burning Man since 2012, and have played some of the world's biggest festival stages, including Coachella and Tomorrowland. Throughout the years, they have played in multiple venues across the White Isle and also secured a residency in Las Vegas - something practically unheard of for an underground act. We can’t wait to see what they bring to their new home this summer.
Once a humble street performer, Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté loves to put on a show behind the decks. His collection of music is second to none, and Bedouin’s A Wednesday Saga has become a second home to him, as he was co-owner of Heart and handpicked the duo for their residency from 2017-2019.
WhoMadeWho is Tomas Høffding, Tomas Barfod, and Jeppe Kjellberg - a trio of musical talents who have morphed from a rock-indie band into techno-loving artists now more likely to be seen alongside acts such as Tale of Us, LCD Soundsystem, and Soulwax.
