Wakyin & Special Guests Open-Air
Queens, New York

Overview
On August 22, we’re bringing Wakyin back to New York for a night of reggaeton, house, and Afro-Latin-infused energy—a perfect way to celebrate summertime fun at The Ruins Knockdown Center. Hailing from Dominican and Puerto Rican roots, Wakyin has risen to stardom, establishing himself as one of the most exciting new names on the scene.
With his breakout track "Fruta Fresca" now boasting an impressive 65 million streams, Wakyin’s momentum is undeniable. Over the past year, he’s been performing across Europe and the U.S., appearing at some of the most renowned venues and events. From his hometown’s The Vanguard in Orlando to Jolene Soundroom in Miami, EDC Orlando, Hocus Pocus Miami, EDSEA, Cova Santa Ibiza, and Thuishaven Amsterdam, Wakyin has consistently delivered standout performances. A career highlight includes sharing the stage with Gordo during a memorable set in Ecuador, marking a significant milestone in his journey.
Also joining the lineup is Luna Mar, a Gray Area resident. She’s been spinning at some of the biggest parties, including elrow and Desert Hearts, and has shared the stage with artists like Franky Rizardo, Dombresky, and Archie Hamilton.
Joining Wakyin is Dos Flakos, a Bronx-born DJ/producer duo with Dominican roots, known for blending Latin Caribbean sounds with NYC house. Central to the Latin House scene in New York, they produce Latin Amapiano remixes and original tracks like 'Sazon' and 'Palo Santo,' connecting global Diaspora influences with club culture through immersive, culturally driven sets.

This summer, Wakyin brings his culture-driven sound to one of New York’s top open-air venues. Set in The Ruins, the expansive 19,000-square-foot backyard of the Knockdown Center, this industrial-meets-outdoor space creates the perfect setting for a special night. Stay tuned for more details—you won’t want to miss this. Grab your tickets now, and join us on August 22!
