Jamie Jones Returns To Defected With Summertime Groove, 'My Paradise'

Leave it to Jamie Jones to deliver the perfect poolside groove. It’s a well-known fact that no one does bass lines like Jones, but “My Paradise” is one of his spiciest to date. A pining vocal and salsa-inspired piano step this tune up a notch while the strings and horns sweep us off into a sublime oceanside sunset. Audibly induced bliss at its finest.

Inspired by his frequent jaunts to Ibiza over the years, Jones recalls his earliest days on the White Isle.

"I remember back in my early Ibiza seasons around 2000,” Jamie begins. “There were these big anthems that used pumped up 909 hi-hats, a heavy kick drum, a looping disco groove. Producers like Armand Van Helden and Full Intention did it so well. I wanted to re-create this for the 2022 dancefloor and 'My Paradise' is what came out.”

The Hot Creations label boss has been one of dance music’s leading figures for the better part of a decade, pioneering his distinguished brand of warm house and techno. Spirited bass lines, irresistible percussion kits, and unparalleled taste create house music heaven for anyone listening to a Jame Jones set. Some might even call it, Paradise.

Paradise started as Jamie’s distinguished Ibiza party in 2012 and has since grown into a renowned international events brand. From Miami to Ibiza, London to New York, Dance music fans the world over dream of a chance to catch one of Jones’ Paradise events. As we excitedly make our way into Ibiza season, Jamie Jones pays homage to his Ibizan roots and drops the perfect summer party starter, “My Paradise,” out now on Defected Records.

We recommend you enjoy this latest offering with the sun overhead, a drink in hand, and ample room for dancing, but let’s be real, any setting will do.

"My Paradise" is available on all platforms now. Stream or buy here
