It's only been a few months since UK talent Joshwa rocked our worlds at Superior Ingredients alongside fellow British stalwart Deeper Purpose. But to be completely honest, we just couldn’t wait to invite him back for another dose of that supersonic bass. So, we're bringing Joshwa back with a couple special guests to Brooklyn on September 17 on The Roof at Superior Ingredients! It’s a late summer celebration of a landmark year for the producer set against the picture-perfect backdrop of the best views of the Manhattan skyline.
Joshwa has risen the ranks into the upper echelons of the house scene on the back of a steady stream of stellar and varied house heaters. Tracks like "My Humps," "Bass Go Boom," and his most recent floor stomper with Solardo, "VIP Business," were once coveted IDs of the most elite DJs in the game like Vintage Culture, The Martinez Brothers, Jaden Thompson, Wax Motif, Oliver Heldens, Idris Elba, MK, and Walker & Royce. These same sexy, scintillating tracks are now future classics. His productions carry a compelling signature, firmly rooted in 90s hip hop and R&B culture, without being firmly similar. Joshwa’s music has an uncanny universal appeal.
Joshwa first stepped onto the scene in 2016 but had a true breakthrough moment in 2021 with his chart-topping Lee Foss collaboration, "My Humps." It dominated house music sets around the world for damn near the whole year. He followed up its success with the slinky banger "Eastern Dub" on FISHER's Catch & Release records and then dropped a string of releases on heavy-hitting outlets Black Book Records, Insomniac, and Ultra. He’s quickly proved his rare talent as an audio shapeshifter.
Joshwa at EDC 2023
Joshwa moved past being a rising act in 2023. Beyond his releases with Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, Spinnin', and Insomniac, he's brought his floor-filling sound to dancefloors around the world, from EDC Vegas and elrow Miami to upcoming appearances at We Are FSTVL and Paradise at Amnesia Ibiza.
Kicking off this marathon party and making their debut will be Earth Signs with Like Mee following up as the day gets grooving. To add more excitement, Miami's Club Space resident Ms. Mada, and European sensation, Idriss D, are joining forces for an exclusive b2b set!
Directly supporting Joshwa is New York’s very own Ky William who is having the summer of his life with major releases on Desert Hearts, Off The Grid and Solid Grooves and playing major sets like his b2b with Mikey Lion and supporting John Summit.
Ms. Mada, hailing from Miami's vibrant nightlife culture, stands out as Club Space's only female resident DJ support and closing for some of the biggest names in our community. With notable performances at Ultra, EDC, BPM, TRiiP, HARD Summer, Skyline and her debut at DC10 for Solid Grooves to support Pawsa and Dennis Cruz, she continues to make waves especially since her remarkable Boiler Room set at III Points in Miami
