Sunday, May 12th, one of the finest exports from the ever-fecund Glasgow dance music scene, Denis Sulta is set to join us on The Roof of Superior Ingredients. After a killer performance back in August at one of our most beloved New York venues, how could we resist the chance to invite him back again?

Real name Hector Barbour, Denis Sulta has become exalted within the underground scene for his infectious fast-paced sets, high energy performance style, and plethora of dancefloor-ready productions.

After bursting onto the scene following his 2015 release ‘It’s Only Real’ via Dixon Avenue Basement Jams, which also earned him well-deserved MixMag cover, Sulta quickly became one of the most in demand DJs from the UK with his scrupulous approach to dance music.

With a sound that defies typical house and techno realms, his sonic identity sits somewhere between the two, with euphoric electronica at the beating heart of his productions.

Sulta sent shockwaves around the world with his viral 2017 Boiler Room filmed in his home country, which to this day has garnered just under 3 million views.

The flamboyant and alluring character has since gone on leaps and bounds to propel his artistry to the next level. From curating his own Sulta Selects imprint, which has held residency at Ibiza’s infamous Amnesia, he’s also a firm favorite everywhere from Circoloco in Ibiza to the industry’s largest and most attended festivals around the world.

Now, after a production hiatus that seemed like an eternity, Denis Sulta re-emerged last year with the whimsical ‘World of Flies’ released on his own label. The single comes as a testament to his musical evolution, and first original release since 2020, and marks a new chapter of his growth as an artist and inspiring prowess as a lyricist, vocalist, and songwriter.

It only makes sense to have a wicked and versatile artist to close out the event. Based out of California, we're excited to welcome back Nala. Once a member of the DirtyBird Records family, she now stands as the owner of Mi Domina - a femme-dominant electronic imprint that merges punk rock aesthetics with underground dance music. We had the pleasure of hosting her back in March, and she ripped it, as always.

Opening up the event is Corinne, for another rodeo with a Gray Area. She has previously played support for our last Denis Sulta show and has made her mark by recording on the Lot Radio and playing at Electric Island. We're also thrilled to welcome back HVNLEE. One of the pinnacles of HVNLEE's career was the unforgettable opportunity to perform at the Hulaween Music Festival on the Femme House stage.

And, cutting the sh*t and sewing the love together, we have Cut & Sew. As co-founders of the exciting house music label House Hats Collective, and DJs who have graced stages at EDC Orlando, Okeechobee Music Festival, and Countdown Music Festival, we're happy to have these guys on board for an epic party on the Roof of Superior Ingredients.
