Destination SXM Festival w. YokoO & Guests
Brooklyn, New York

Overview
This NYC pre-party marks an early stop on the road to SXM Festival, bringing the spirit of the island to The Roof at Superior Ingredients for a daytime-to-sunset gathering in Brooklyn. SXM Festival returns to Saint Martin from March 18–22, 2026, uniting a global community for five days of music, culture, and exploration across beaches, jungle clearings, private villas, and panoramic viewpoints.
Since launching in 2016, SXM Festival has grown into a true destination experience, welcoming attendees from more than 58 countries and placing a strong emphasis on the relationship between music and place. From sunrise beach sessions and oceanfront dancefloors to hidden jungle stages, curated food experiences, and large-scale art installations, SXM is designed to feel inseparable from its island setting.

Montreal-based Julian Prince is set to play the pre-party. He brings decades of dancefloor experience shaped by early years spent in iconic rooms like New York’s Twilo and Montreal’s Sona and Stereo, as well as regular trips to Miami’s Winter Music Conference. A producer, DJ, and event organizer, Prince has released music on labels including Mile End Records, Nurvus, and Castor, with charting releases that gained global support across the house music community. He is also the founder of SXM Festival, and continues to balance event curation with studio work, most recently appearing on the Kindisch Steps X compilation.

Setting the tone for this journey is YokoO, who headlines the pre-party as a long-standing and trusted presence within the SXM world. French-born DJ and producer YokoO is known for emotionally driven deep and melodic house selections that unfold gradually and invite connection on the dancefloor. His performances have taken him from Ibiza’s All Day I Dream to the Caprices Festival, sharing stages with artists such as Black Coffee and Jamie xx, as well as New York appearances with City Fox alongside Cassian and Nora en Pure. International highlights also include Zamna in Dubai with Nic Fanciulli and Istanbul’s Monkey Project.
As the founder of SATYA Records, YokoO has built a platform rooted in artistic freedom, releasing his own music while supporting a global network of like-minded artists. His sound and values align closely with SXM Festival’s ethos, making him a natural fit to guide this pre-party and offer a preview of what awaits in Saint Martin.
This event brings the SXM community together for an afternoon and evening centered around shared anticipation for the island journey ahead.
