Overview

Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2022, Eastern Electrics has solidified itself as one of the leading electronic music festivals in the UK. Thrown in London annually, the single day affair is rooted in underground warehouse culture, bringing to light many of the greatest talents that make up the local electronic landscape as well as showcasing some of the best international superstars.

Over the past decade, Eastern Electrics has welcomed hundreds of thousands of ravers to its London-based events across warehouses, studios, parks, garages, lofts, and some of the city’s largest venues— most recently and notably, the Lee Valley Showground in North London for Eastern Electrics Festival.

Though just one day, Eastern Electrics packs around 30 artists into the ten hour festival. The talent is spread across five stages: Cuttin’ Headz. Pyramid, Appetite, and La Discotheque, each hosted by its respective brand, as well as the festival’s own stage, Big Top. Festival-goers can expect to hear a broad spectrum of sounds across house, techno, garage, and disco. Previous years saw performances from notable names like Green Velvet, Seth Troxler, Carl Cox, Skream, and Kölsch.

This year’s Eastern Electrics marks eleven years of the festival and the second year at Lee Valley. Taking place from noon until 10 pm on August 26, the 2023 edition welcomes familiar faces like The Martinez Brothers alongside festival newcomers like ARTBAT and Chris Stussy.

The Pyramid stage— coming all the way from Amnesia in Ibiza— will host techno hard hitters like Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Mella Dee, Elli Acula, Luca Donzelli, and Ogazón. The main stage, Big Top, will host performances from ARTBAT, Joris Voorn, Fideles, Miss Monique, and Airrica. The Cuttin’ Headz stage is headlined by The Martinez Brothers, with very special guests leading up to their performance, including Rossi., Mason Collective, DJ Minx, and Jean Pierre. The Appetite stage hosts UK talent including Denis Sulta, Tai Lokun, and Elliot Schooling b2b Liam Palmer, as well as Dutch DJ Chris Stussy, Berlin-based Lovefoxy, and European duo Laurie & Cecillo. La Discotheque will host high-energy sets by Move D, Crazy P, Barry Can’t Swim, Heléna Star b2b Louise Chen, and Jaye Ward.
