Overview

Calling all house music lovers! On October 19th, we are happy to welcome renowned DJ and producer Lee Foss to Manhattan’s premier nightclub, Musica. Born and raised in Chicago, the birthplace of house, Foss has been a major figure in the house music scene, co-founding the award-winning record labels Hot Creations, Repopulate Mars, South of Saturn, and North of Neptune.

Foss is celebrated for curating some of the most exciting sets, hosting the best events, and signing top talent such as Mau P, John Summit, Max Styler, and Matroda. His career took off after a fateful meeting with Jamie Jones in Ibiza, leading to the formation of Hot Creations and their Hot Natured project. Foss has been instrumental in shaping modern house and tech house, with his labels continuously delivering top-charting tracks.

In 2010, he was the highest new entry into Resident Advisor’s key Top 100 DJs poll, and by 2011 he had climbed to number 18 in the chart, a huge feat given that he only played his first European gig in 2009.

Hot Creations, founded with Jamie Jones, is renowned for its deeper, groovier, and more European-inspired house tracks, playing a crucial role in modern house music. Repopulate Mars, which ranked #3 on Beatport overall, focuses on larger, mainstream tech house artists, blending underground and mainstream sounds in a seamless, groovy way.

South of Saturn, another of Foss’s innovative ventures, is dedicated to nurturing up-and-coming talent. This label supports younger artists and those with smaller fan bases who share the sound and spirit of Repopulate Mars. By providing a platform for these emerging artists, South of Saturn ensures a fresh influx of new talent into the scene, keeping the music fresh and evolving.

North of Neptune, the latest addition to Foss’s impressive portfolio, focuses on sounds reminiscent of minimal, deep house, and early 2010s tech house. This label aims to revisit and celebrate the classic elements of these genres while introducing fresh, innovative tracks.

Lee Foss’s sets feature a mix of classic house, R&B, 90s hip-hop, 1980s electro, and Detroit techno influences, all seamlessly woven into a performance that will keep you dancing all night long. As a DJ heavily influenced by the Chicago music scene, Foss delivers top-notch house music that you won’t want to miss. Having played at some of the world’s most iconic venues, including fabric in London, Spybar in Chicago, Watergate in Berlin, The Warehouse Project in Manchester, and Paranoia Festival in Milan, Lee Foss is a must-see.

Hailing from Tenerife, Hector Couto is widely recognized as one of the most consistently pioneering artists in the music scene. His presence extends beyond the studio, making him a regular fixture at some of the world’s biggest events and festivals, including Sankeys, el row, ADE, BPM, Music On, and Solid Grooves.

Brooklyn native Danny Espinal has been a key player in New York's underground music scene. At 33, his journey into dance music began at 15, heavily influenced by legends like Victor Calderone, Danny Tenaglia, and Junior Vazquez. With performances at top venues like Verboten Brooklyn, 5050 Club in Miami, and Monarch in San Francisco, Espinal is a rising talent to watch. Joining the lineup is local New York act Loudpack, ready to spin tunes that will get the dance floor moving!

Also joining the fun is Liquid Rose, a U.S.-based DJ and producer known for his dynamic blend of house, tech house, and Afro house. He has performed at renowned clubs across the USA, Europe, and Asia. His breakthrough came with his release on Nervous Records alongside Trace, which gained widespread attention in both nightclubs and streaming platforms.

Outside of traditional dance music spaces, Liquid Rose experienced viral success with his previous hit, "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe." By 2024, he garnered support from top-tier DJs, and his tracks were played at iconic venues like Space Miami, EDC Mexico, Music On Festival, and Coachella, with each new release frequently climbing the charts.

Liquid Rose is set to expand his reach even further with upcoming releases on labels such as Repopulate Mars and Make the Girls Dance, further showcasing his versatility. His music is featured on several Spotify editorial playlists like Tech House Operator and Ibiza 2024.

He has released tracks on prominent labels like Hellbent and Glasgow Underground, with support from major artists including John Summit, Chris Lake, Claptone, and Diplo. Joining the lineup is local New York act Loudpack, ready to spin tunes that will get the dance floor moving!
