This September 19, Gray Area welcomes one of the most exciting names in music—Tuscany-born and Barcelona-based Marco Faraone—to the Roof of Superior Ingredients for a night of pure sonic elevation, joined by James Wyler, Adam Meliani, and Rana Iravani.

Faraone’s sets are a masterclass in range and precision—deep, groove-led, and never one-dimensional. From the stripped-back energy of Panorama Bar to the massive main room of Amnesia Ibiza, he’s left his mark on some of the world's most legendary dance floors, including fabric London, DC-10, and Gashouder Amsterdam. His career ignited with a residency at Florence's iconic Tenax club, where he evolved from local talent to internationally recognized tastemaker.

A cornerstone of his success is UNCAGE, his influential label and event series that pushes the boundaries of techno and house. With over 40 original tracks, multiple acclaimed albums—including the experimental HOPE with journalist Ian Urbina—and releases on heavyweight imprints like Drumcode, Rekids, Desolat, and Defected, Faraone’s discography is as impressive as his DJ sets.

Supporting Marco Faraone on September 19 is a stacked lineup of rising talent and local favorites. Brooklyn-based James Wyler brings his fusion of jazz, drums, and hip-hop mixed with Romanian minimal—an approach that’s earned him releases on Solid Grooves Raw, Whippin, and Rawthentic, along with support from heavyweights like Michael Bibi, Marco Carola, and ANOTR. Returning to the Gray Area decks is Adam Meliani, fresh off opening sets for the likes of Will Clarke, Joyhauser, and Bart Skils. We’re also thrilled to welcome local standout act Rana Iravani.

After a standout season at Amnesia, where Marco commanded both the Terrace and Main Room, Marco returns to Williamsburg with the same intensity.
