Event Recommendation
One of Ibiza’s most beloved residencies, Paradise, returns to Amnesia on September 14, spearheaded by world-renowned producer Jamie Jones. After an eight-year run at DC-10, Paradise relocated to Amnesia Ibiza in 2020. The Paradise residency sets out to create a party that feels eclectic and creative but still with an intimate family feel.
Every Wednesday throughout the summer, Jones headlines The Terrace alongside some of his fabulous, hard-hitting house friends. Across two stages, Terrace and The Music Box, mid-week ravers can experience some of the best in deep house and techno.
Terrace
Jamie Jones is the DJ, producer, and Hot Creations label boss who helped to pave the way for warmer, more melodic angles on traditional techno. This week, he’s going back-to-back with Joseph Capriati, one of techno’s most in-demand headliners of today.
Patrick Topping is an affable party guy with a genuine dedication to his music. Now with his blossoming label and party brand Trick, his sunny disposition and tech house hits are sweeping the national dance community.
Hailing from Berlin, Cinthie’s resume doesn’t stop at epic, disco-tinged live sets. She’s also the head of the label 803 Crystal Grooves and its many subsidiaries, the owner of a house-minded record store in Berlin, a recently featured artist on DJ-Kicks, and also a proud mother.
When Ninetoes first recorded his now legendary track “Finder,” he meant it for his hip-hop sets. After a slightly up-ed tempo and quick drum beat change, he then had the most talked about Ibiza track of 2013. The track has now been remixed by greats like Carl Cox, and Ninetoes tours all over the world with his groove-infused tech-house.
The Music Box
With his music, Britain’s wAFF has grown from underground clubs to some of the most prestigious stages and labels in the world. His enthusiasm and crisp production made tracks like “Groover” and “Jo Johnson” bonafide dance floor scorchers.
East End Dubs has considered himself a DJ first and a producer second for more than 15 years. This gritty East-Londoner is a cultured selector of timeless tracks. His stripped-back take on house, garage, and tech keeps dance floors locked in all night long.
UK newcomer Wheats is a favorite of underground giants like Michael Bibi and Jamie Jones. His electro swagger has put him at the forefront of the UK’s surge of rising producers and DJs poised to take over the world.
Joseph Edmund emerged from the underground with a three-track EP on Hottrax, after Jamie Jones fell in love with the Brit’s deep electro house sound. In his short rise, he’s already been noted as one to watch.
