Event Recommendation
One of Ibiza’s most beloved residencies, Paradise, returns to Amnesia on September 21, spearheaded by world-renowned producer Jamie Jones. After an eight-year run at DC-10, Paradise relocated to Amnesia Ibiza in 2020. The Paradise residency sets out to create a party that feels eclectic and creative but still with an intimate family feel. Every Wednesday throughout the summer, Jones headlines The Terrace alongside some of his fabulous, hard-hitting house friends. Across two stages, Terrace and The Music Box, mid-week ravers can experience some of the best in deep house and techno. Terrace Over the last decade, Jamie Jones has pioneered his own distinct sound. The DJ, producer, and Hot Creations label boss helped to pave the way for warmer, more melodic angles on traditional techno. This week, he’s going back-to-back with Luciano, a welcome return after the unexpected cancellation of his Paradise set earlier this month. Through her solo productions, Giorgia Angiuli moves seamlessly between techno, house, and electro-pop. She’s also a big fan of toys. In addition to her dreamy vocals, during her live sets, she uses a theremin, toy flute, sax, trumpets, and just about any instrumental toy she can get her hands on. Serge Devant has long been a favorite of Jamie Jones. His unapologetically emotive music and no-nonsense take on house music have earned him credit on some of the industry’s best event brands and record labels, Hot Creations included. La Fleur captivates audiences with her elegant take on house and techno. After she relaunched her Power Plant label with the Aphelion EP, the Swedish artist also introduced a fashion line and various expressions of visual art to her imprint. The Music Box Dance fans around the world have been treated to over a decade of Eats Everything. Hailing from Bristol, this globetrotting DJ, prolific producer label owner, and radio host is known for his vibrant sound. As he channels the influential sound of his hometown, some credit this Brit as his own musical institution. East End Dubs has considered himself a DJ first and a producer second for more than 15 years. This gritty East-Londoner is a cultured selector of timeless tracks. His stripped-back take on house, garage, and tech keeps dance floors locked in all night long. Toman is praised for ushering a new era of dance music into the Netherlands. This young talent has already gained support from artists like Cynthie and Archie Hamilton. Joining him on the decks is Rossi. Rossi is a household name in the underground club scene and is putting a fresh spin on the minimal house sound. Those she’s still early in her career, Fleur Shore seems to be leading from the front. With infectious basslines and captivating vocals, her killer technicality and a wide variety of selects earned her a residency at the underground party TRMNL, as well as sets at Fabric and The Warehouse Project.
