Solid Grooves Motel Closing Party

UK house and techno label Solid Grooves have smashed the summer in their new home and are offering one more time to party on September 29th. We’re not really sure why Solid Grooves at DC10 hasn’t been a thing in the past, but we are certainly happy that it is now and I don’t think we’ll ever look back! 2022 brought a lot of changes to the Ibiza scene, including adding more parties to DC10’s weekly schedule. Historically the club has hosted only two events per week, but for the 2022 season they offered five nights of heaven at the end of the airport runway. Can we look forward to 2023 already? Ibiza’s number 1 underground club DC10 was made famous by the hedonistic after-hours sessions of the original Monday daytime session Circoloco. Situated at the end of Ibiza airport’s runway, the venue has played host to various parties across the years with Solid Grooves Motel being one of its latest offerings. Doors open at 11 pm and you can stomp away to the best in techno and house music all the way until 7 am the next day. The lineup for the night is incredible and consists of Solid Grooves head-honcho Michael Bibi alongside PAWSA, Dennis Cruz, ANOTR, Ben Sterling, Blackchild, Eddy M, Silvie Loto, Wheats and special guests who are yet to be announced. An established member of the underground music scene, London-based Michael Bibi is a DJ and producer that exudes quality. His passion for music started in his younger teenage years. He won Best Tech House DJ at the 2019 DJ Awards and is the head of Solid Grooves Records, so of course he was going to get behind the decks to close off the summer of 2022. House and techno DJ PAWSA co-founded Solid Grooves Records alongside Michael Bibi and brings his unique sounds to the club night of the same name. He is an expert of controlling the crowd and guiding them on a journey with his tech-house sounds. You can’t think of underground and house events without thinking about Dennis Cruz. Starting his DJ career when he was 17, Dennis quickly worked with an amazing collection of artists and was awarded Resident Advisors 2nd Most Charted Artist in 2016 with many number 1’s on Beatport since then. ANOTR are an Amsterdam-based duo who have made some serious moves in the electronic music scene. They’ve been dubbed “producers to watch” and “future superstar DJ’s” and had strong releases on labels such as DFTD, AVOTRE, Material and Snatch before starting their own label, NO ART. British-born DJ and producer Ben Sterling already had a residency at London’s Ministry of Sound when he was 18. He quickly caught the attention of bigger names in the electronic music scene, especially Hot Creations and Paradise boss Jamie Jones who played seven of Sterling’s unreleased productions during a single EDC Las Vegas set! As the youngest person to ever play Paradise at DC10, and backed by the myriad of artists on the roster, Ben Sterling is one to keep an eye on. Gennaro Filisdeo (aka Blackchild) is an Italian DJ and producer who first got into music when he was inspired by his father’s record collection. His tech house sound was immediately supported by some of the biggest names in the business including Marco Carola, Kenny Dope, The Martinez Brothers, Fisher and Todd Terry. Italian Eddy M started his production career in 2010, and has since had releases on prominent labels such as Moon Harbour, Snatch!, Electronique, Sanity, Eye Records, Be Different Music, Ker Recordings, Sk Supreme and Six Sound. He has also frequently played for infamous party brand elrow. Silvie Loto is a tech house DJ and producer from Italy. She has held residencies in two of the most important Italian and European clubs; Tenax in Florence and Goa in Rome, and has played parties and festivals across the world. Her sets are put together meticulously and are full of creativity. Influenced by his father, British DJ Wheats started playing house music at the age of 14. He’s played alongside artists such as Kerri Chandler, Richy Ahmed, Youssef, Sidney Charles, and Sam Divine and has toured around the UK, Europe, and America for brands such as Paradise, Solid Grooves, elrow, Kaluki, and Knee Deep In Sound.
