From humble beginnings in rural southern Spain, Wade—born Juan Carlos Cruz Lopez—has risen to international acclaim through a combination of talent, vision, and relentless drive. First gaining attention with Solid Grooves in London’s underground scene, he went on to create his own label and party series, Criterio, which sold out Madrid’s legendary Fabrik on its first showcase and quickly earned backing from Universal Music. Known for a distinct “groover” sound, Wade’s versatility as a DJ allows him to command both intimate bunker clubs and festival main stages, sharing bills with names like Marco Carola, Solardo, FISHER, and David Guetta.
