Franky Wah Presents SHÈN

After a smash debut last year, Franky Wah brings his SHÈN residency back to Club Chinois every Sunday from June 16th – September 29th.

‘I can’t wait to get back to Ibiza this year for the second edition of my SHÈN Residency at Club Chinois’ Franky says. ‘The debut last year was a huge success, from the incredible artists that played to the people that were turning up week on week. The vibe on the dancefloor every Sunday was pure magic and I’m buzzing to come back this year bigger and better than ever.’

The globe-trotting party is gearing up for another explosive season on the white isle, with Franky the man in focus with his hauntingly melodic sets alongside the likes of Ukrainian sensation Miss Monique, a legendary B2B performance by Sasha and John Digweed, and Brazilian talent Kalismã.

Hernan Cattaneo will be making his debut appearance this year on two separate dates, alongside the return of beloved favorites Joris Voorn and Hot Since 82. Guy J will be bringing his progressive vibes to the mix, alongside Franky himself, who will also delve into the afro house scene with Themba and Francis Mercier.

Swedish techno maestro Ida Engberg, South Africa-born Nora En Pure, and Irish wizard REBŪKE are also amongst the headliners infusing the dance floor with a fusion of '90s techno, house, and rave vibes.

Having already released a number of successful records on SHÈN from artists such as Cristoph, Shadow Child, Korolova, and Sasha to name a few, the imprint has become a haven for melodic house and techno, that even ventures into the realms of afro, progressive and breaks.

More recently, SHÈN Recordings launched 'This Is SHÈN', a debut mixtape that introduced the label’s dedication to Chinese philosophy, religion, and mythology. With this being said, it’s safe to say that Wah landed the perfect home for his all-encompassing night at Club Chinois, with both entities holding similar, decadent and stylistic Chinese influences.

The glamorously renovated former HEART nightclub, opened in 2022 and has already hosted some of the island's most successful residencies, with SHÈN being one of them.

The space has been designed to entice hedonistic souls from around the world, where late nights come alive through escapism and incredible music. Inspired by the glamorous yet iniquitous jazz clubs of 1930’s Shanghai, the club delivers impeccable hospitality and world-class, contemporary entertainment.
