Overview

On May 2nd, Desert Hearts takes over Xanadu Roller Arts for a one of a kind Love Bizaar experience. It blends skating, music, and art activations including sculptors, jewelers, tattoo artists, and more into a full night of movement and connection. The roller rink brings back the spirit of classic disco era skating and reimagines it for today.

From 7PM to 10PM, the roller rink is fully active as Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, and Marbs play a special house and disco set from the side DJ booth while the floor stays open for skating. Skating is not mandatory, but if you know how to, get them on and glide through the music or gather around and take it all in.

At 10PM, the rink transforms as the booth moves to the center and the space opens into a full 360 dancefloor, with the Desert Hearts crew playing a 360 set through until 2AM.

This is Love Bizaar, Desert Hearts’ signature event series where music meets art and community. A hybrid of party and marketplace, the night features local creators across multiple mediums including painters, jewelry designers, tattoo artists, and more woven into the experience. It is a space to discover, connect, and take something home beyond just the music.

Set inside Xanadu, a venue built on the intersection of skate culture and nightlife, the night taps into New York’s deep rooted history of movement, rhythm, and self expression. Whether you are rolling, dancing, or just taking it all in, the environment is built for flow. Previous skating parties at Xanadu have featured names like SOFI TUKKER, Disco Dom, and EDX, and Desert Hearts is a natural fit for this next chapter.

This is not a typical night out. It is a full circle experience, part skate session, part dancefloor, part creative playground, led by a crew known for bringing people together wherever they go.

Come early. Stay late. Move how you want.
