Elrow Closing Party | Dance With The Serpent
Event Recommendation
The craziest closing part of the season is upon us. On Saturday, September 29, from 11pm, Amnesia Ibiza will light up once again as the multicolored world of elrow springs to life for its final soiree of the summer. And believe us, you’re in for a treat! Not only is there a strong lineup made up of elrow alumni, but the Barcelona-born brand has let its imagination run wild once again and conceptualized a brand new theme for the closing party. We present to you: Dance With The Serpent. Collaborating with the visionary Austrian artist Nychos, elrow promises yet another incredible immersive experience that redefines what clubbing is all about. Here's a sneak peek into what's in store: Nychos’ vision is a profound perspective of the dance floor. He perceives dance as more than just movement; it's a meditative state, a place of ecstasy, and pure happiness. “It's where we connect - with ourselves, the world, and the vast universe. Therefore, this theme is all about transformation, shedding the old, and embracing the new.” Serpents, with their twisted movements, symbolize a myriad of contrasts. They tempt us into the unknown, yet in many cultures, they're revered as symbols of healing and rebirth. This theme delves deep, exploring the contradictions of life and death, light and dark, and the physical and metaphysical. Imagine a dance floor that winds through every color of the rainbow, surrounded by vibrant creatures from different dimensions. From a seductive Medusa to the majestic Anubis, the performers and characters are synonymous with an elrow party. And it all comes together to create a visual spectacle we know and love. It doesn’t make sense, but we don’t care. As with any elrow party, music is the heartbeat, and "Dance With The Serpent" is no exception. The closing party at Amnesia promises tech-house mastery, taking us on a rhythmic journey from beginning to end. And with a lineup featuring Adam Beyer, Bastian Bux, Joris Voorn, Sarah Story, Toni Varga on the Terrace, and Ilario Alicante heading up the main room (aka Elrow City), we know you won’t be disappointed. Elrow, known for its innovative themes, seems to have outdone itself with this collaboration. "Dance With The Serpent" is more than just a party theme; it's a testament to the transformative power of dance, art, and music. So, dress up and enjoy the party, dance like no one is watching, and make sure to grab one of the 100’s of inflatables that fall from the ceiling - they’ll only add to your ensemble! Let’s dig into the lineup for the night: Swedish techno producer and DJ Adam Beyer is the founder of Drumcode Records. Emerging in the mid-1990s alongside Cari Lekebusch and Jesper Dahlbäck, his music is now synonymous with all that is exciting about techno. His ability to hold a crowd is second to none, which he has proven time and time again this summer as part of Eric Prydz’s night at Hï and multiple appearances on the island (including at elrow). Dutch DJ and producer Joris Voorn has been devoted to house and techno music since 1997. Ibiza has always played a huge part in Voorn’s summer touring schedule, from playing We Love… at Space on Sundays back in the day to more recent La Familia nights at Ushuaïa with Nic Fancuilli. He has also held residencies at ANTS and of course, elrow, so is definitely no stranger to an Ibiza crowd. Bastian Bux, a prodigious DJ and producer from Barcelona, has made significant waves in the house music scene since his debut EP Stay in 2015. With a unique blend of emotional techno, dark house, and high-end electronica, Bux has showcased his versatility through releases on esteemed labels and electrifying performances at global venues, including Tomorrowland and Space Ibiza, solidifying his reputation as a forward-thinking artist and a resident DJ for elrow. Sarah Story is a dynamic broadcaster, DJ, and songwriter known for her BBC Radio 1 show, Future Dance, where she champions both emerging and established dance music talents. Passionate about promoting a balanced playlist, Sarah is dedicated to supporting female and non-binary artists, and she's recognized for her role in shaping the next generation of electronic artists, as well as hosting the podcast BACKSTORY, which delves into the narratives of intriguing industry figures. Toni Varga, a prominent figure in the elrow label, began his career as a promoter in his hometown, A Coruña, Spain, before turning to DJing in local clubs around 2001. His distinct sound, influenced by American house producers and labels like Joeski, Siesta, and Twisted, evolved over time to include more tech-house and techno elements, and his career took a significant turn when he joined the elrow label after a successful stint as a resident DJ at Amnesia Ibiza. Italian DJ and producer Ilario Alicante knows that his link to the dancefloor as a clubber is absolutely vital to his success as a DJ. Growing up, he would frequent dance floors across Europe, including Germany and Ibiza. Ilario Alicante joined the Cocoon family, created his own label, and played at festivals and nightclubs around the world. For the last few years, the Italian artist has played at some of the island's most popular parties, spreading his good vibes and unique sound wherever he goes.
