Event Recommendation
Following the release of his album Metamorfosi on his own label, Redimension, Joseph Capriati is presenting a short series of conceptual events at the one-and-only Amnesia. The first of three special events took place in July, with August 5 being the second edition.
Not only will the Italian DJ/producer Capriati be hosting on the Terrace for an extra special, all-night-long set, he will be bringing with him a roster of carefully selected DJ friends.
Metamorfosi is not only about showcasing the best techno but will also see Capriati and his guests cast a wider net, expand their musical horizons, and celebrate the influences that shaped their style throughout the years. Capriati first stepped behind the decks at just 11 years old and quickly became popular in his hometown, playing his first proper gig in 2007. He is a techno master and a staple in the global festival and club scene. His all-night set behind the decks of Amnesia’s Terrace will allow him to showcase his full range of talents, epic music selections, and undoubted DJ skills.
"It's a dream come true to have these dates at Amnesia,” says Capriati. “I have been dreaming about this since the first time I went to the club. Every party will be packed with passion from me and my whole team. Everyone will feel that when they step into the club,” he says.
“We decided to do just three nights so that we can really put everything into each one. I can't wait to see you there and make sure these events are truly special and unique experiences."
Also on the decks for the night over in the Main Room of Amnesia is fellow Italian DJ and producer Enrico Sangiuliano, one of electronic music’s most influential talents. His contributions to the techno world not only lie in his incredible back catalogue of number one records, but also his performances around the world on some of the biggest stages.
Speaking of Italian tastemakers, Indira Paganotto, from Milan will also spin in the Main Room. With an impressive list of accolades and accomplishments to her name, she’s also shared the stage alongside artists such as Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Ian Pooley, Borderline, Bloody Mary, Art Department, and Nina Kravitz. Paganotto has graced stages at some of the best clubs and festivals in the world including Lollapalooza, Daydream, Rex Club, Egg Club, Harry Klein, and Gare Porto, showcasing her unique blend of minimal, techno, acid, and psy-progressive sounds.
Swiss-born Gianni Callipari will be going B2B with Barcelona-based Flavio Folco in the main room, too. Expect an epic blend of hip-hop, techno, electro, futuristic soul, and funk beats. Flavio Folco is well-known for his musical compositions on his imprint Fresh Food (Napoli), whereas Gianni Callipari’s tracks have been released on the Cadenza label.
