A techno odyssey comes to Marina Botafoch on Tuesday, June 27.
Marking the first female solo residency in Ibiza, Mystik is held every Tuesday until September 26, 2023, promising to keep techno enthusiasts dancing all night long.
Club Chinois, now in its second Ibiza season, continues to impress visitors with its stellar line-ups, state-of-the-art installations, and an unparalleled crowd that creates an atmosphere like no other.
This exclusive club, holding the space that used to be Heart, takes clubbers on a journey through space and time, creating an immersive experience that transcends the typical night out.
Ida Engberg is no stranger to the limelight. Born on July 1, 1984, she kickstarted her career at the tender age of 18, filling in for another DJ at a club. She later landed a regular night and her big break at the Spy Bar, one of the most famous clubs in Stockholm.
Since then, she has collaborated with renowned artists such as Roger Sanchez, John Dahlbäck, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Eric Prydz. Her first single, Disco Volante, released with Icelandic singer Björk, was a hit in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany during the summer of 2007.
Engberg has also graced various large electronic music festivals with her energetic presence.
Last year, Engberg began her journey with Club Chinois by taking over the decks on Tuesdays halfway through the summer. This year, she has gained full creative control, launching her own residency, Mystik.
With her unbridled passion, contagious energy, and natural talent, Engberg has set the benchmark for women in electronic music. This new venture promises to break myths, overcome barriers, dispel prejudices, debunk preconceptions, end stereotypes, and exceed expectations.
Sven Väth is a three-time DJ Awards winner and a German DJ and electronic music producer with a career spanning over 30 years.
Launching his career with the single "Electrica Salsa" with OFF in 1986, Väth has been a major proponent of the underground electronic music scene in Germany and Ibiza, where he hosted his own night, Coocoon, at Amnesia Ibiza for eighteen years and organized after-parties at various creative locations around the island.
Maurizio Schmitz is known for his distinctive psychedelic house style, which he has developed over a career spanning decades.
Starting his journey in 1990 at a club his mother worked in, Schmitz has since been at the center of the German techno scene, holding residencies at famous clubs like Labor and U60311, and running his own Mauromusica night in Bonn for a decade.
Schmitz has also worked as an event manager, promoter, and booker, and has been a frequent support act for the legendary DJ Sven Väth, with their paths continuing to intersect over the years (as they will do on this night).
Mystik by Ida Engberg is more than just a weekly techno event. It's a statement, a testament to Engberg's musical journey, as well as a celebration of female power in electronic music.
So, if you are in Ibiza on Tuesday, don't miss out on this techno odyssey that will surely keep you dancing all night long.
