The Swedish techno queen takes over Club Chinois with Mystik.
After gracing the decks of the brand-new venue last year, Ida Engberg is taking over Club Chinois in 2023 with her very own party, Mystik.
The opening party will take place on Tuesday, May 30th from 23:45 with the whole residency running until September 26th. Throughout the series, Ida will be bringing her unique vision to the club, breaking down barriers and empowering repressed minorities and their allies through the power of music and self-expression.
It's a world of mystery and intrigue, just waiting to be explored.
Mystik is all about shattering myths and challenging prejudices. With its avant-garde design, this party is the perfect platform for Ida to showcase her artistic vision and introduce a lineup of world-renowned artists who will join her on this transformative journey.
If there’s anything we do know, it’s that Ida Engberg will be exceeding all expectations this year with her inaugural residency. Not only that, but she is the first female to hold and head their own residency at an Ibiza club.
This is going to be big.
For the opening party, Ida Engberg will be joined by an exceptional lineup of artists, including Claudio Ricci, Manda Moor, Nicole Moudaber and Yulia Niko.
Together, they'll create an unforgettable experience for everyone who seeks to transcend boundaries and celebrate the power of music.
The creative minds at Island Hospitality, known for their legendary London hotspot Park Chinois, introduced their lavish, 1930s-inspired concept to Ibiza in 2022.
With its design crafted by the renowned Parisian design studio Laleh Assefi, the venue offers a playful nod to Ibiza's cherished hedonistic roots, blending contemporary glamour with classic hospitality.
Previously home to HEART, the expansive 3,000 square meter space underwent a remarkable transformation, thanks to Island Hospitality's multi-million Euro investment. This makeover has created the perfect fusion of old-world charm and modern sophistication.
The Artists
Ida Engberg kicked off her career at just 18 years old, filling in for another DJ at a club. Her big break, however, came when she worked at the Spy Bar in Stockholm, with a later residency at Cocktail Club in the same city.
Hailing from Sweden, a country renowned for its continuous stream of techno-prodigies, Ida Engberg has built a successful career as a DJ/Producer through unwavering dedication and enthusiasm. As an internationally acclaimed talent, Ida is known for her preference for raw, high-energy techno and her keen ear for deep house.
With an ever-expanding repertoire of productions, she continues to rise through the ranks of the electronic music scene.
Claudio Ricci pulls his influences from all corners of the house music genre and you'll be able to witness him expertly blend types in a diverse and dynamic set at Mystik's opening party.
Danish-Filipino DJ and producer Manda Moor swings perfectly between house and techno and has had releases on globally known labels such as Hot Creations, Tamango and Afro Acid to name a few.
DJ, producer, record label founder and radio host Nicole Moudaber is no stranger to the White Isle, having played Space (now Hï Ibiza), Amnesia and DC10 in the past. Her festival tick-list includes Glastonbury, Electric Daisy Carnival and 2 appearances at Coachella.
Born and raised in the south of Russia, but now living in Berlin, Yulia Niko is a top techno selector, swaying to more minimal sounds heavily influenced by Detroit and Chicago house.
