Melodic techno duo, Township Rebellion, is headlining a memorable night of underground vibes at The Room at Superior Ingredients on Saturday, August 26th. With their remarkable journey from playing at Berlin's iconic clubs to igniting global stages, their performance promises to be an unparalleled sonic journey, captivating both seasoned fans and newcomers.

In 2019, the famously enigmatic Township Rebellion caught the ears of Rose Avenue label founders Rüfüs Du Sol after a transcendent performance at Burning Man. They subsequently signed the German duo for an EP release titled 2020. And while that release marked a pinnacle moment in their career, their history in dance music is deep-seated. They were steadily building a global audience, rabid for their transformational beats even before they debuted on Oliver Koletzki's Stil Vor Talent in 2016.

Groundbreaking is often tossed around in dance music circles, but when applied to Township Rebellion, it barely scratches the surface. Before it blossomed into one of dance music's most popular genres, they raised the flag for the fledgling melodic techno sound.

Their shadowy sonics, thundering kicks, and intelligent sound design are a go-to for artists like Lane 8, Sander Kleinenberg, Gorgon City, Lilly Palmer, and Miss Monique. And their ability to craft a sonic story for the dancefloor has led them to bookings at lauded festivals and clubs from Berlin to Istanbul, Sydney to Tulum, and Miami to New York.
