Overview
Black Coffee holds the prestigious title of being the first EVER Hï Ibiza resident, and that reign is set to continue in 2024.
Commencing in 2017, his residency has fast become synonymous with cutting edge, forward-thinking curation and some of the most stand-out clubbing moments Ibiza has seen.
The pioneer of afro house and the trailblazer of the South African sound, Black Coffee assumes his rightful Saturday slot this summer. The weekly endeavor at Hï oozes tribal sophistication, African heat and spiritual splendor, year upon year, adding to the superstar‘s elite stature.
On an unstoppable upward trajectory that continues to defy convention, Nathi Maphumulo triggers sold-out shows across the globe, packs out stadiums in his home country, and has amassed an eminent list of collaborators including Akon, Alicia Keys, Drake, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Diplo, Kelly Rowland, Beyonce and Jay Z.
As ever, with Black Coffee’s razor-sharp eye for talent at the helm, expect another year of flawlessly put-together line-ups featuring underground acts and internationally renowned Ibiza regulars.
The GRAMMY-nominated superstar takes over Hï's Theatre each week, where he's often invited some aristocratic guests including fellow countrymen Da Capo, Culoe de Song and Themba, alongside scene dignitaries such as Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, The Blessed Madonna, Keinemusik, Nastia and DJ Tennis. All carefully selected to build-up to the main event that is Black Coffee's cutting-edge soundtrack.
The Hï Ibiza Theatre is set to be filled with spiritual energy and plenty of immersive visuals and stunning decor for an escapist atmosphere, with evocative house sounds, and a crowd that is always willing to go wherever Black Coffee wants to take them.
One of the most out-there thinkers and singular selectors in the scene, the eternal alchemist's Crosstown Rebels label is one of dance music's most influential imprints. You also be familiar with his own Day Zero festival, one of the most extraordinary in the world.
Damian Lazarus is often found DJing in unique settings in the jungle, on a beach or up a mountain at his Get Lost and Rebel Rave parties. In summer, he calls in to Hï Ibiza every Saturday, taking over the Club Room with underground electronic visionary.
With Black Coffee in the Theatre and Damian Lazarus in the Club Room, Saturday nights at Hï Ibiza are guaranteed to be one of this summer’s most sought-after events at the super-club.
For 2024, the world-famous party will run from May 18, to October 5.
