Hubert Ameme Sodoganji, popularly known as AMÉMÉ, hails from the vibrant culture of Benin in West Africa. Growing up, he experienced a myriad of professional pursuits, guided in part by his mother's advice to prioritize academics. Despite venturing into fields like finance and pre-med in New York, AMÉMÉ's true passion always lay in the realm of music. Encouraged by his mother's promise to fund music classes if he excelled in school, he remained an ardent music enthusiast even when that promise went unfulfilled. Over time, this unwavering passion led him to self-learn the art of mixing and curating DJ sets, ultimately charting the course for his flourishing career in the global music scene.

In his early years, AMÉMÉ chased academic pursuits, moving to New York to study pre-med and even exploring a career in finance. However, the allure of music was too strong to resist. As he taught himself to mix and curate DJ sets, the unmistakable call of his passion became clear. Making a brave leap into the music scene, AMÉMÉ did not just settle to be an entertainer. With a business mind sharpened by his education, he established his music label, One Tribe.

However, it was 2023 that marked a defining period in his career. AMÉMÉ took the global stage by storm, dazzling audiences from festival fields to club floors. His performance at the CORE stage at Tomorrowland was both memorable and mesmerizing. A surprise B2B set with BLOND:ISH at Alemagou Mykonos showcased his versatility, while his collaborations at Hi Ibiza with the likes of Black Coffee and Damian Lazarus highlighted his prominence in the industry. Moreover, his b2b set with Brazilian icon Vintage Culture at Hi Ibiza during FISHER's night and his debut for Michael Bibi's Solid Grooves at DC10 Ibiza further solidified his status.

His 2023 year has been nothing short of legendary. AMÉMÉ rocked stages at EDC Mexico, SXM Festival, Electric Forest, Awakenings, and Tomorrowland. His performances at Lightning In A Bottle, Paradise, Amnesia, and the much-celebrated closing set at Printworks London, kept audiences on their toes. His concluded a spectacular finish at Miami Music Week, where he played alongside titans FISHER and Nic Fanciulli.

AMÉMÉ is a global phenomenon as his musical journey, rich in cultural ties and amplified by modern beats, positioned him as the go-to artist for house music enthusiasts. If there's a beat that captures the essence of 2023, it's distinctly AMÉMÉ's.
