Overview

We’re thrilled to welcome Walker & Royce to New York for a weekender to remember! Join us on August 3rd at Manhattan's hottest nightclub, Musica, followed by a daytime, open-air rooftop party at Superior Ingredients on August 4th. Walker & Royce, consisting of Sam Walker and Gavin Royce, are a renowned house music duo from New York. They have been prominent in the dance music scene for over a decade, known for their lively house tracks and captivating live performances. Their journey began as interns in New York City, eventually leading them to become respected figures in dance music.

Walker & Royce are celebrated for their remarkable collaborations, working with notable artists such as Chris Lorenzo on a remix of Idris Muhammad’s "Could Heaven Ever Be Like This." Their adaptability is evident in their work with Diplo, Channel Tres, Mindchatter, and Aluna, blending various sounds and styles. Their EP "Just What The World Needs" features successful tracks with VNSSA and Mindchatter, highlighting their collaborative talent and ability to create standout music.

Their live performances are also well-regarded, having played at esteemed venues like Discopussy in Las Vegas, Elsewhere in NYC, Sound in LA, and Space in Miami. They have an international presence, performing at legendary spots in Europe, including Ministry Of Sound and Fabric.

Their major breakthrough came in 2014 with the track "Sister," which was recognized as an Essential New Tune by BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong. This track propelled them into the music world spotlight. Their remix of SAARID’s "Future Lately" further solidified their reputation, catching the attention of Damian Lazarus of Crosstown Rebels and leading to the release of their EP "You’re Not Welcome."

Their discography includes the debut album "Self-Help," featuring the hit track "Can You Pass That?" and their sophomore album "No Big Deal," released on Dirtybird Records. This album features collaborations with artists like Harm Franklin, VNSSA, and Reggie Watts, showcasing their unique sound and production skills.

Walker & Royce have also made a significant impact through their record label, Rules Don’t Apply (RDA). The label emphasizes creative freedom and supports a diverse range of house music artists, consistently putting out tracks that resonate with listeners.

Musica, located in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood along the Hudson River, is a three-story, 25,000-square-foot venue that was formerly home to Space Ibiza New York and FREQ. Musica New York is the creation of restaurateur Giuseppe Cipriani and Italian nightlife entrepreneur Tito Pinton. Originating from a sister club in Riccione, Italy, Musica offers top-tier production, an excellent sound system, and an enthusiastic crowd of house music lovers. Join us for an unforgettable night with Walker & Royce at this iconic venue.

The Roof of Superior Ingredients during the summertime is already high-vibrational, with its open rooftop, tables, disco balls, and the magnificent view of the Manhattan skyline. What makes it even better? Two house artists who dominate and deliver top-tier house music.
