Gorgon City Fires CRSSD Festival into the Stratosphere
Earlier this Spring, Gorgon City took CRSSD Festival to new heights. Menacing vocals echoed through the darkness within seconds of them stepping behind the decks to signal the arrival of something big.
Kicking off each year in San Diego’s Waterfront Park, CRSSD Festival is one of the most anticipated US dance music events. The Spring 22’ lineup featured Four Tet, Glass Animals, Jeff Mills, Sofi Tukker, and many more.
North London duo Gorgon City – Kye Gibbon and Matt Robson-Scott – have garnered a torrent of international support in the past decade. Their tracks, a supercharged form of bass-driven tech house, have proven to be addictive, pulling in over 676 million combined streams.
Alongside producing several UK hit singles, the pair have also ventured onto tougher, more club-oriented terrain through their REALM imprint, which has housed meaty releases like “Grooves On The Vinyl,” “Motorola,” and “Primal Call.” They’ve sold out headline shows at Brixton Academy, Ushuaia, Sziget Festival, and Splash House in Palm Springs.
CRSSD Festival returns this September. Gorgon City will appear at Lost & Found in Malta, Love Saves The Day in Bristol, Extrema Outdoor Festival in Belgium, and beyond. They’ll also be resident DJs this Summer at Ibiza’s coveted super-club, Amnesia.
