Gray Area's Inner-Circle Holiday Party: Family Reunion

Join us on the breathtaking rooftop of Brooklyn’s Superior Ingredients, Friday December 2nd with incredible performances from two of 2022's most talked about DJ’s, we’re bringing to you a synergetic showcase as part of our Doubleheader event series.

Entering the sky-high DJ booth are both acclaimed Elrow resident Bastian Bux, along with the woman moving mountains in the scene right now, Manda Moor, who is making her NYC debut with this show.

Let’s delve a little deeper into what these two musical vanguards are about…

Bastian Bux

Already boasting an established global fan base, Spanish born and bred DJ Bastian Bux is best known in the industry as one of the figureheads of the iconic Elrow party. Having been a resident at the mammoth extravaganza for many years, he is the epitome of what the House music imprint represents - vibrancy, authenticity and high-energy.

Not only an elite mixer, selector and party-starter, Bux has made quite the name for himself with his eclectic EP productions, with releases on Toolroom Records, Sven Vath’s Cocoon, Voltaire and of course Elrow, to name a few. His tracks can be heard at the most reputable of parties, being spun by some of the world's leading DJ’s.

Hustling like the peers he idolizes, Bux’s touring schedule is a hefty one. Playing at some of the most noteworthy clubs all over the world to thousands of people each week, he has the unique ability to move between sounds, blending commercial House bangers, Tech-House, Minimal and heavier Techno during his sets.

It’s safe to say he knows how to play the crowds, having done it for so many years. His sets are performed with drive and discernment and guarantee a packed out dancefloor - a true master at work.

Letting his work speak for himself, he is arguably one of the most prolific influencers and contributors to not only the Spanish clubbing scene but the electronic music industry as a whole. His hard work and dedication to his vocation is unrivaled.

Manda Moor

Since breaking into the underground scene in 2020 with her What You Want EP on Kaluki (a label run by Pirate Copy (DJ) and promoter about town Nick Yates), the talented Danish-Filipino DJ and Producer Manda Moor, who lives in Paris, has spared no effort in ensuring her place on center stage.

With a distinctive sound lying somewhere between punchy Chicago inspired House and a darker, more earthy Techno beat, Moor has had numerous chart toppers in just two years, on both Beatport and Bandcamp’s charts. Notably, her collaboration with Sirus Hood on MOOD EDITS caught the attention of some House music heavyweights, including Louie Vega, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, and Pete Tong.

Despite the rising star making her come up at an unusual time during the COVID-19 outbreak, it‘s worked in her favor. After putting in the ground work, the foundations have been laid for Manda to thrive within the scene. This summer, she got her well deserved big break, as she secured her very first residency at Ibiza megaclub Amnesia, for Jamie Jones’ Paradise.

The future looks bright for Manda Moor and she’s only just getting started. She has earned her stripes in a short amount of time, proving herself in both her production and DJing abilities.

This Doubleheader collaboration brings together two House music powerhouses, both with a similar style of music but known for residencies at two completely different parties.
