Overview
Pikes is an iconic Ibizan institution, steeped in rock ‘n’ roll history, and bursting with character. Transformed from a 500-year-old finca into a luxury hotel in the late 70s by founder Tony Pike, the unique venue soon became a bolt-hole and party hub for an array of A-list celebrities including Bon Jovi, Boy George, Freddie Mercury, George Michael, and Grace Jones.
The 26-room haven located in the hills of San Antonio, features bespoke rooms and suites set around its perfectly-kept gardens, in which the famous aquamarine pool was the location for Wham’s ‘Club Tropicana’ video.

The hotel, cited as one of the most famous or infamous hotels on the island, developed a notorious reputation for hedonism in the 1980's, and is associated with being a playground for the music and culture elite. For decades, its anything-goes atmosphere has remained, and is one of the reasons why it's still so coveted.
The fairytale hideout changed hands in 2016, now owned and operated by the team behind the Ibiza Rocks Hotel and party venue (which is also located just a short drive away). Despite this, Pikes still remains one of the few places that represents the authentic, carefree, Balearic spirit of the island.
In 1987, Freddie Mercury's 40th birthday bash was also held at Pikes, pointed one of the most lavish parties ever to be held in Ibiza. As a regular at the hotel, the suite he so famously stayed in has now been turned into a one-of-a-kind club space, known as Freddies.
The now intimate party room is the go-to place for over 27s and upwards to visit for a night you won’t forget. You’ll rub shoulders with billionaires, to bus drivers on its famous dance floor, and its choice of buzzing bars – everyone is equal under Freddies dazzling disco lights.
The Rocks team creates an epic weekly roster of events at Freddies, with residencies from rock nights and disco, to house and heavy techno. There’s a party everyday of the week in summer, with its line-ups almost completely secret until doors open.
From DJ Harvey, The Martinez Brothers to Bicep, the enigma of a night at Freddies is what makes it such a special place.

Aside from Freddies, Pikes boasts its own restaurant, Room 39, which has earned critical acclaim on the island, as well as its famed bathtub karaoke, comedy nights, and its bright pink tennis court.
