A classically trained jazz pianist born in Oregon and based in Los Angeles, LP Giobbi made her big break when Daft Punk’s studio engineer, Peter Franco, discovered her playing jazz in San Francisco. Early tracks like 2018’s “Amber Rose” and 2019's “Jungle Queen” showcased her inventive spin on the house music genre.

When the COVID pandemic derailed her European tour supporting SOFI TUKKER, she could have thrown in the towel. Instead, she spent the time nightlife was put on hold continuing to build her audience via Twitch live streams. The Freak Fam, as she affectionately calls them, are now a fiercely loyal force to be reckoned with.

Recent tracks like “Take My Hand” and “Say A Little Prayer” featuring Amazonian Rockstar have continued to move the needle, further embedding LP Giobbi into the modern dance music zeitgeist. She has seized the day and steered this momentum toward something even bigger than herself, leveraging her raised profile to advocate for causes close to her heart.

In February 2022, LP Giobbi embarked on the Femme House Takeover Tour, which saw Ableton-certified trainers give production lessons by the day and LP perform by night. She has also partnered with Alicia Keys’ She Is The Music campaign on an initiative called She Is The Producer, which has given 3,000 women access to music production software and classes.
