LP Giobbi, born Leah Chisholm hailing from Oregon, is a multi-instrumentalist, DJ, and producer known for her unique blend of piano house grooves and club beats.

Chisholm's journey started when she relentlessly begged her parents for piano lessons in the second grade. Considering her parents strong appreciation for music, it didn’t take long for them to cave and get her in front of Caroline, her piano teacher.

It was the start of a long road that would strengthen her understanding of music far deeper than most. She continued to pursue her passion by studying as a classical jazz major at UC Berkeley. As a talented multi-instrumentalist, she boasts a degree in Jazz Piano Performance from UC Berkeley and uses her improvisational training to incorporate live piano into her performances.

Despite being known as “the piano house queen,” the Austin-based producer didn’t discover electronic music until after college thanks to what she calls a “freak accident.” One day, when she was playing a solo jazz gig in a bar, audio engineer Peter Franco approached her. The industry veteran who worked on Daft Punk’s game-changing 

 album wanted to recruit her for an electronic girl band. That project didn’t pan out, but it did inspire her to DJ.

Forever And A Day

Soon after that, Chisholm DJed an afterparty for 

. The Grammy-nominated electronic duo invited her to join them on tour, and singer Sophie Hawley-Weld has been one of her biggest supporters since. This opportunity led her to with them on their artist initiative, Animal Talk.

Her “one-woman jam band” DJ sets blending CDJs with live piano have graced top festival stages like Coachella, EDC, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, Tomorrowland, Electric Forest, and Creamfields. She has supported iconic artists like 

 invited her out as support for his massive O2 Arena show in London, which was a landmark moment in her career.

All In A Dream

In 2019, she co-founded Femme House, a non-profit that organizes femme-centric Ableton workshops to teach new voices to express themselves through music. In 2022, Femme House teamed with major dance label Insomniac to release an 11-track compilation that put those voices into the world before getting them onstage during one of the biggest events of the year, 

In April 2023, The Grateful Dead, now Dead & Company, a band that holds a special place in her family's heart, asked her to join them for their last tour ever, where she will be hosting her own shows called Dead House After Parties, which she considers one of the biggest moments of her life.

In a short time, LP Giobbi has carved a unique niche in the house music community. She has earned over 102M streams across platforms, been nominated for the Breakthrough Producer in DJ Mag’s Best of North America Awards, and landed on the cover of Spotify's Best of Electronic Music 2022. Having been included in Spotify RADAR’s Artist to Watch, Amazon’s Artists to Watch and TIDAL's Artist to Watch 2023, she continues to make massive strides.
