Since uniting as Fideles in 2010, Daniele Aprile and Mario Roberti’s melodic brand of techno and house has landed them on essential labels like Bedrock, Innervisions, Stil vor Talent, and Afterlife. On December 2, 2022, it will bring them to the DJ booth of Quantum Brooklyn, where NYC fans can experience one of their caringly curated musical journeys firsthand.

Fideles | Tomorrowland 2022 - WE 3

Quantum is a 5,000-square-foot venue located in Brooklyn’s Gowanus neighborhood. It was previously called Analog Brooklyn but rebranded in 2019. The club is still under the same management but boasts wall-rattling new bass drivers and more immersive audiovisual production. It has previously billed artists like Patrick Topping, Lady Starlight, and recent Fideles collaborator Agents Of Time.

As such, Quantum is well equipped to play host to the transcendental dreamscapes that have defined Fideles’ musical output over the past 12 years.

In their first years of activity, Fideles were arguably known for a tribal/deep house sound encapsulated in releases like 2013’s Rebelion EP and 2014’s Hidden Lover EP. While that organic warmth certainly remains in their productions, they began setting it off with intricately layered synth melodies. The shift is evident in their 2017 collaborative EP Fideles / Transcode or their 2019 EP Venere.

A range of DJs wide enough to include Solomun and Laurent Garnier have supported Fideles tracks. Pete Tong also declared their track “The Border” one of his favorites of 2017.

Fideles’ most popular releases thus far have been a few years’ worth of gorgeously crafted official remixes. Their July 2020 rendition of Ross Quinn’s “Away With Me” sits just shy of three million Spotify streams at the time of writing, and their January 2021 take on “Golden” by Fritz Kalkbrenner has thus far amassed over 2.1 million streams.

There’s electricity in the air during a performance by an act on the rise, a current that spreads to every open heart on the dance floor. It is this very momentum that will make Fideles’ upcoming night at Quantum an occasion not to miss.
