The Doubleheader series is built for the house and techno crowd that lives for good music and epic nights. It’s all about bringing two artists with similar styles but their own special energy together for a one-of-a-kind experience. Each event starts with individual sets that highlight their distinct sounds, then closes out with a back-to-back performance where the unexpected happens. These aren’t your typical sets—they’re raw, unplanned, and completely in the moment.

In the past, our Doubleheaders have put on sold-out shows featuring some of the biggest names in dance music, including Max Styler & Tini Gessler, 

& Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Angelos & Pablo Fierro, 

 x Tom & Collins with Kellie Allen. We've also showcased powerhouse pairings like Catz 'n Dogz x Nala, proving time and again that Doubleheaders bring together top-tier talent for unforgettable nights on the dance floor.

We created this series for the fans who are always on the hunt for something new and the artists who thrive on playing to fresh audiences. Doubleheader gives DJs the chance to reach fans outside their usual crowd while delivering sets that feel fresh and exciting. It’s a win for everyone: fans walk away with new artists to follow, and the artists gain new connections that boost their careers.

Gray Area is pioneering the "Doubleheader" event series, drawing inspiration from back-to-back baseball games to showcase artists with similar styles but unique fan bases. By having one artist follow another and culminating in a collaborative back-to-back (B2B) set, Doubleheader aims to create a powerful platform for musical discovery and cross-pollination. Embracing the "B2B" spirit, the initiative seeks to introduce audiences to new sounds while strengthening the dance music ecosystem.

Having played a role in introducing major artists and brands like elrow and Awakenings to new audiences in the past, Gray Area believes in the magic of first-time experiences. By promoting artists in new venues and cities, they hope to cultivate a thriving, unified house music ecosystem.
