Overview

Brooklyn, it’s on. July 13th, Classmatic is heading to the rooftop of Superior Ingredients for a night that’s been a long time coming, joined by rising talents Slugg and Enzo Is Burning. Known for meshing Latin groove with stripped-back tech house, the Brazilian artist is bringing his unmistakable sound to one of the city’s most iconic settings.

Hailing from Tubarão, Brazil, Classmatic—real name Frederico Farias—has steadily built a reputation as one of the most exciting names in house music. Things took off in 2022 when he dropped “Toma Dale” with Nfasis on Jamie Jones’ Hot Creations, a track that dominated dance floors in Ibiza and beyond. Since then, he’s been on a tear, releasing bangers on Solid Grooves, Hottrax, Cuttin’ Headz, Revival New York, and more.

He’s brought his sound to clubs and festivals around the world—EDC Las Vegas, Hï Ibiza, Space Miami, and Day Trip LA, to name a few. Along the way, he’s shared the stage with big names like The Martinez Brothers, Paco Osuna, Beltran, Seth Troxler, and Ben Sterling.

Slugg, aka Mateo Acosta, is a DJ and producer known for his energetic fusion of 90s hip hop influences with house grooves. Originally from Miami and now based in Orlando, he came up through the House Keepers collective before launching his own imprint, GetBusy.

Check out our recent exclusive interview with him.

Slugg has played major festivals like BPM, EDC Orlando, Skyline, III Points, and Okeechobee, and has earned support from big names like Loco Dice, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Fisher, Mason Collective, and Classmatic. His dynamic sound and stage presence have made him a favorite among fans and fellow DJs alike.

Enzo is Burning is a minimal tech-house DJ and producer with a style that’s anything but ordinary. He’s played for big names like Defected, elrow, Kaluki, and ABODE, and rocked stages at Hideout and a sold-out headline set at Night Tales.

He first caught people’s attention with standout remixes (his edit of Aaliyah’s “Give It Up” is a fan favorite), but now he’s all about his original tracks. These tunes are already getting spins at fabric, Amnesia Ibiza, and Space Miami, with support from heavyweights like Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, FISHER, Peggy Gou, and Sosa.

Classmatic secures nearly 70 releases under his belt. tracks like “El Primer Corazón,” “Catuca,” and his remix of Cloonee’sSun Goes Down” have become go-to selections for DJs across the scene.
